Hi! I'm Katie, an East Coast & Destination Wedding Photographer, based in Washington D.C. After taking a high-school photography class–it quickly became clear that I loved the art of photography. Soon after graduating, I was offered an internship position near Chicago that allowed me to continue to dive into the world of studio lighting, image editing, and commercial photography; continuing to hone on the technical skills that often get left behind when you have the digital screen to instantly see your work. A few years later, I photographed a friends wedding and it became crystal clear that this was exactly what I wanted to pursue.

When you envision your wedding photos years after your day, how do you want to use them? A canvas over your bed? An album on the coffee table? You can be confident that your images will be timeless and elegant, and stand the test of time. With experience photographing over 85 weddings, I will guide you during the wedding photography experience, and even help with the timeline of the day-of if you don't have a planner. I believe that "poses" should feel natural and authentic–so instead of feeling stiff or awkward, you'll be coached in what to do, and then we let the candids take over.
