My name is Casey, I'm a 30-something year old photographer from Northern Virginia who shoots on a combination of digital and film! With me, you'll receive true-to-color-but-better photos that are a combination of both candid and posed moments. While I am newer to wedding photography, I'm not new to capturing moments of joy, love, and tenderness between couples and their loved ones. When I'm not taking photos, you'll find me cuddled up at home with my wife and our two cats, going on ridiculously long walks, or watering my many houseplants.

I find that the magic is in the in-between moments—the loving glances between poses, the unbridled joy after a proposal, and the quiet moments between newlyweds on their big day. Of course, I love a good pose or prompt too. With me, you'll get a mix of candid and posed photos that are true to color, letting the emotion of the moment shine. I'm also a big sucker for black and white photos, as you'll see in my portfolio. Ultimately, I want you to see yourself, your love for your partner, and the joy you two share in your photos. This is your story, your love, your family, and your moment—I'm just honored to capture it.

    An Incredible Photographer and Even Better Person

    From our first conversation, Casey made us feel at ease with her warm and responsive communication throughout the planning process. She showed up incredibly prepared on our wedding day, which helped us relax and enjoy every moment instead of worrying about the details. Her photography skills are exceptional. She has a real talent for capturing the authentic moments that made our day special, the ones that feel like our own memories. Casey went above and beyond to reduce our stress before the wedding, and her thoughtful approach to her work really shines through in every photo. We felt like we were in such capable hands, and the final images prove just how much care she puts into each wedding.     Amazing care and support

    Casey is so lovely to work with! Neither of us are the most comfortable taking photos, but she made it so we felt as if we were just being ourselves. The adjustments she makes are comfortable and clever, and I can’t wait to do another session with her!

    I could not recommend Casey enough after working with her for engagement photos! Her photos were incredible, a gorgeous mix of vintage style film photos and digital. She is so warm, accommodating, and professional, which made us feel comfortable shooting on a busy Saturday morning in DC. She captured my fiancé and I so beautifully, in every one of the many gallery photos she shared with us (after a very quick turnaround!). Every single photo is frame worthy! We can't wait to work with Casey again for our wedding next summer.

Sneak peaks are ready within 48 hours, and full wedding galleries are delivered within 6 weeks!
I typically shoot 80-100 photos per hour, so you will likely receive around 100 photos per hour of coverage.
While my sincerest intention is to never miss a moment, life can be unexpected. My back-up plan is to always have a fellow photographer who I know and trust on standby to capture your day. I will still handle editing and gallery delivery (circumstances depending).
Each photo you receive will be carefully reviewed, selected, and edited by me!
The sooner the better! But as a photographer who is entering into the wedding space, I do have flexibility with my calendar for weddings so if you are in a pinch for an elopement or wedding photographer, it's very likely I can make it work!
I do not, but I know several talented videographers I would be happy to recommend.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
We can absolutely talk about adding a second shooter to your wedding package if that is something you are interested in!
