ShotsbyMoses is a wedding and portrait photography studio based in the DMV. We believe your wedding day happens once, and the photos are what you'll actually have left of it. Years from now, long after the flowers have wilted and the guests have gone home. That's the lens (literally) we shoot through: not just documenting a timeline, but capturing the way it actually felt to be there. We work across weddings, elopements, and milestone celebrations, and we travel for destination weddings too.

We shoot for the photo you'll frame, not just the photo you'll scroll past. Every gallery is built with intention, candid, unscripted moments woven in with portraits you'll actually want printed and hung on a wall. You won't get a rushed, checklist approach to your day. You'll get a team that pays attention to light, timing, and the small unplanned moments most photographers miss because they're too busy posing the next shot. Our goal isn't just to deliver photos, it's to hand you something you'll still be looking at in twenty years.

For weddings, we recommend booking 6–12 months out, especially for peak season (May–October) dates. But we are very accommodating and have covered weddings with less notice — reach out and we'll check availability. We encourage having a Day of Coordinator, they make things run smoothly on the day of.
Yes. Travel is included within 30 miles of Silver Spring, MD. Beyond that, a travel fee applies, and for destination weddings we're happy to discuss logistics and cost directly.
Coverage length, one or two photographers depending on tier, and a full edited digital gallery are included in every package. Albums and rush delivery are available as add-ons.
Yes, premium albums are available as an add-on to some packages, our premium packages come with albums.
Yes. While we offer set tiers as a starting point, coverage hours, add-ons, and specific requests can be tailored to your day.
Yes. Engagement sessions can be booked as a standalone add-on, and they're included at no extra cost with our premium wedding packages.
We do offer videography as well — reach out and we can discuss options for combined coverage.
