Fireside Events is a DJ company rooted in family. Our team shares a deep love for music, performance, production, and planning. Our mission is to deliver these powerful elements to create lasting memories for Pittsburgh wedding couples and their family & friends.

Here are some components of our wedding DJ packages that set us apart from the crowd: * Meet for "Fireside Chats" so that we can have a personal relationship with the wedding couple, build their timeline, and demo our fun add-ons! - meet and greet sessions with your Fireside wedding planner and Fireside DJ * Mix/beat-match & transition our music so that the beat never stops throughout dancing * Provide you with a DJ assistant on your wedding day to help prep your major players during big moments such as grand entrance, processional, and toasts. Assists are walkie-talkie'd to the DJ for stress free assurance that everything will run smoothly.

    11.2.24 Wedding at Pinerock Farm

    We could not have been happier with Fireside Events for our wedding on 11.2.24! LeeAnne right off the bat was excited to help us coordinate the details of our day to ensure it went exactly how we envisioned. She paired us with the most amazing DJ duo, Matt and his wife, and words cannot describe how stellar they were. Matt and his wife's communication throughout the whole day via us and our coordinators made the entire wedding run smoothly. Everyone could not stop talking about Matt's set as well. Would absolutely recommend Fireside events and DJ Matt!!!!

    LOVE working with Fireside!!

    Oh man, I can’t think of enough good things to say!! Eric and Erinn (and all the staff!!) are the BEST to work with!! They are always so kind, genuinely care about their clients, are always willing to lend a hand to fellows vendors, are always very professional... I literally cannot say enough! If you’re looking for the best, look no further!! I am a vendor in this industry as well and have worked with MANY people... I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Fireside Events is, by far, one of the greatest in town! I’d hire them for my own events in a heartbeat!

    Super Fun & Talented Wedding Services Duo!

    Fireside Events was one of the very first vendors we booked for our wedding day, and easily one of the best decisions we made during the entire process. Erinn and Eric are not only totally professional, reliable, and talented at what they do, but they are also two of the MOST fun, welcoming, and friendly people we know. They made us feel special throughout our entire planning process and went totally above and beyond to accommodate some of our unusual requests. They found a way to turn our dream wedding into a reality without ever once missing a step along the way. After our wedding was over, many of our guests told us that Eric was the best DJ they had ever heard at a party. We would highly recommend Fireside Events for your music, entertainment, and party planning needs.

Suit and Tie
Yes! We are always thrilled to be introduced to new songs by our wedding couples. We will download these songs and have them ready to be played your wedding day when you would like them to be played!
We pride ourselves in being wedding couple focused and "a planner-DJ company". The DJ/MCs role in the vendor team is to lead the guests through the timeline that was built to reflect the precious vision that the wedding couple created together when dreaming about their wedding day. We believe that building this entertainment timeline with the wedding couple is crucial to the success of the event.
As long as our wedding couple would like us to take requests, absolutely! We have found that taking requests from guests is one of the best ways to determine what music (songs and genres) will keep them on the dance floor and having fun!
Yes. We ask our wedding couples to fill out our Wedding Information Forms at least one month in advance to their wedding day. Requests collected in these forms prepare us to play the specific songs that the couple would like to hear for moments such as their processional, unity moment, and recessional. These forms also collect "background music" requests for guests' arrival and Cocktail Hour.
We partner with live musicians that we are happy to sub-contract for a couple's wedding day. We are also happy to play any song that the wedding couple would like us to play (as long as it is appropriate). This allows us to play any specialty, religious, or ethnic song that is on their list of requests!
Yes. Fireside Events has $1million liability insurance coverage. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) whenever one is needed by a couple or their venue!
The Fireside MC is informative, clear in tone, concise, and genuine; doing all that we can to make the wedding guests feel at home. Our DJs honor the wedding couple, and take pride in shining the spotlight on them. Our goal is to use our voice and music to create the ultimate connection between the wedding couple, and guests.
It depends on how many different areas require us to provide sound (music/announcements) for. Three hours is our minimum time for setup. We typically add 30mins to this setup time for each additional area of sound. For instance, when providing sound for a reception ballroom and outdoor ceremony space, we will arrive 3.5hrs prior to guests' arrival.
We do! Here is a list of our favorite add-ons that our wedding couples can book for their celebration: • Wireless LED Uplighting • Selfie Station (digital, print-ready, virtual) • Globe Lighting • Video DJ • Day-Of Coordination • Custom GOBO • Confetti, Dancing on the Clouds, CO2 Cannon!
Travel costs (up to 1hr from our office in Allison Park, PA) and setup/breakdown costs are built into the pricing of our packages. When traveling beyond one hour, a $20/hr + toll cost fee will be applied.
We do not charge sales tax.
