“We are an older couple, and this was a second marriage for both of us, so I am not sure most people would understand the amount of time and effort we spent to find the perfect DJ for our wedding. We are a blended family with 8 adult children, and 5 grandchildren. We were both young parents, so our kids are early 20's, and we have extended family into their 80's - we are literally talking decades of music tastes to cater to. We are both avid music lovers, so having someone that could work with us to help set the perfect tone for our day was vitally important. We started looking for our vendors 2 years ahead of time and when I say we literally vetted over 50 DJs to find the perfect one, it is not a stretch of the truth. What first drew us to DJ Johnny was his videos. We were looking for a DJ that was fun and outgoing, someone to interact with the guests, but not be overbearing. We had been to plenty of weddings where the DJs barely interacted with the guests, and others where you felt like you were in a club and the show was all about the DJ and not the couple. Neither of these were the vibe we were looking for. What we wanted was someone who was experienced, loved their job and knew how to read the room to keep the party going. DJ Johnny's videos seemed to show just that, so we scheduled a call with him. After talking to him, we were fairly certain we had found our guy, but did our due diligence with our other DJ choices as well. We kept coming back to Johnny, because of his personality. He was confident in his skills, but he was in no way arrogant or overbearing. Just very down to Earth and fun loving - a guy who seemed to be fortunate enough to be able to do what he loved and bring other people joy at the same time. After a second call, where Johnny was able to answer some potential concerns, we knew we had our DJ. Johnny is amazing with answering any emails and addressing any questions or concerns. He was able to cater to the music and any announcements we needed. We have family with some very hard to pronounce names, and he made notes to make sure he pronounced everyone's names perfectly (bride's included). He performed for both our ceremony and reception, and the amount of compliments from guests about the music were too numerous to count. There was hardly a moment where the dance floor was empty, he kept the music flowing, the energy high, the guests engaged and just the entire night was fantastic. I can honestly say that our wedding could not have been as flawless as it was without the help of DJ Johhny. Words alone cannot express our gratitude with DJ Johnny and the integral part he played in making our day both memorable and absolutely perfect. If we ever have the need for a DJ again in the future, DJ Johnny will most certainly be our guy!”

We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. “Ryan went above and beyond as our DJ. He helped organize the craziness of dinner before killing it on the table. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). All around an amazing job and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun DJ who isn’t afraid to lend a hand and help get the job done, even if it’s a bit out of his job description. Thank you!”

We had selected Jeff from word of mouth when he was at a prior company before starting White Rose and were thrilled that we were able to retain Jeff for our special day. Since day 1 Jeff was extremely responsive, educational, and professional throughout the entire process. You can feel the passion from Jeff in his work in every conversation and interaction. On the actual wedding day, Jeff showed up early and made sure everything was set up to perfection to avoid any issues. Jeff's energy on the mic throughout the day was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone unsure of a DJ. Jeff's team of his assistant and photobooth operator were exceptional all day and night as well. The lighting that Jeff had set up was also a huge surprise when we saw how cool it was. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the best part of the night for many. We received a great deal of compliments during and after the wedding about how great Jeff was. Following the wedding, unbeknownst to us Jeff had created a short instagram video of our entire day edited flawlessly and was one of the highlights we could show people. “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! Thank you to all of you for making our wedding day so memorable and fun!!”

“The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”

“EBE was very easy to work with and when my first DJ became unavailable for our wedding, we went with Jon M and I am truly so glad it worked out that way! Jon was so lovely to talk to and plan with and he absolutely made our night on the dance floor so awesome!!! We also rented the Glam Photobooth from EBE and it was one of the highlights of the night. Our guests just loved it and the printed pictures made for the best little favors for them to take home!”
