“Sound Originals was beyond incredible for my wedding. I communicated to them that I wanted to add video a few months out from my wedding and it was a stress free process. My husband and I are a bit awkward when taking photos and my photographer and videographer were so great in helping us get comfortable and trying different poses that made us less awkward in front of the camera. They both helped keep the energy high all throughout the night and my only regret was not hiring them for longer to capture things that had happened after they left. My bridal party and guests were telling me how great my photographer and videographer were. I just got my photos back and they are exactly what I wanted; Moody, slightly editorial with some candid moments. I can’t recommend Sound Originals enough and I will be recommending them to friends and family that are in need of a photographer/videographer”

“Booking Lilly Photography for our wedding was one of the smartest decisions we could have possibly made. Even in our initial consult call with Jiho, we were very impressed with his skills. We also very much appreciated the logic behind his pricing structure--we had a small wedding but still needed full day coverage, so we were able to book collection 2 but remove the second shooter. After we booked, the timing just worked out that we had our engagement session 5 months before our wedding at the Morton Arboretum, which is not a particular scenic time of year (I have to stress, this date was our choice!), but Jiho was able to take some gorgeous photos! We loved sharing those photos, and it gave us so much confidence that he would knock it out of the park for our wedding. Everything on wedding day was absolutely seamless--Jiho was super efficient with the getting ready/first look photos, and we stayed on schedule. The ceremony photos are gorgeous, and I especially love that in some of the photos I am able to see my personality in so many of the photos (I had initially felt worried that the photos wouldn't look like "me"). After the ceremony, the family and bridal party photos were very thorough AND efficient, and I'm so grateful that we have all the different perturbations of family members--all the other weddings I have been in have not been able to do that. It was quite hot and buggy when we took the photos, but absolutely none of that came through in what Jiho captured (which is honestly incredible!). The cocktail hour and reception photos are so fun, and Jiho was able to capture absolutely everything. After the wedding, we got our gallery in 3 weeks, and we haven't been able to stop smiling as we keep looking at the photos. We are so grateful and so thankful we worked with Jiho!! 10/10 would recommend!”

“Zach did such an incredible job shooting our city hall wedding! Having shot several similar ceremonies in the past, he was familiar with the space, knew exactly which moments to capture and where to get the best shots, and he even got there early and saved us a spot in line. After the ceremony and group shots were done, my husband and I spent an hour adventuring around the loop with Zach to take some couples shots. He has a tremendous eye for photography locations, and he captured beautiful moments of us by the riverwalk, under the L, and inside the cultural center. “I have a lot to say here so let me do a TLDR: if you’re here reading this review it likely means photography is important to you. And if that is true, please just book Emily (Hello Rose Photography) because it should be illegal how amazing she is. Send the message as soon as you possibly can. Like right now. Please. The long version: Emily is an INSANELY AMAZING photographer. Color, posing, vibe, attitude, patience, EVERYTHING. Photography was on my top 3 non negotiable list for me, truly the most important thing next to having our dog at our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, I would randomly see her photos and be like ‘omg those are beyond gorgeous I hope my photos look like that’ and then I’d notice it WAS HER. Validation I never knew I needed. If you’re on the fence, just do it. She’s the kindest, gentlest soul and it truly put us at such ease. And she meshed so well with our quirky sense of humor. She also had the patience of a saint with our high energy doggo and capture the actual cutest photos of her. She captured love I’ve never seen between us (it’s hard when you’re looking at your person but it’s even harder for someone to be good enough to capture it). Her candids are literally the best I’ve ever seen. Of me and my dog, me and my friends, my husband and his friends, idk she’s just INSANELY GOOD. I love candids, if you’re a candid person WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR. I promise, I will bet everything on it, you will absolutely not regret spending a single penny on Emily. Honestly, she should charge more. We also had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of working with Bridgid on our wedding day. She complimented Emily so well and truly, I didn’t feel like we had 2 photographers they were so supportive and in tune with each other. Bridgid also found us funny and loved our doggo too. She even threw her the tennis ball. These ladies work so well together that I truly could not tell you who took which photo. SEAMLESS. I truly missed their presence, outside of photography, when they left for the day. These angels probably still don’t know the impact they had on us but one day I hope they see this review and know how important they were (and are) to our day.”
