“We genuinely cannot recommend Sounds Elevated highly enough! Ian and his entire team were absolutely incredible, and the music ended up being one of the highlights of our wedding.
From the beginning, Ian was fantastic to work with. He was easygoing, responsive, and really took the time to understand the kind of party we wanted. We were looking for something that combined great music with the energy of live musicians, and Sounds Elevated absolutely delivered.
We had Ian DJing alongside Fabio on percussion and Caleb on saxophone, and the combination was unbelievable. The song selections, creative remixes, live instruments, and energy they brought to the dance floor made the entire night feel like one big party. The musicians were incredibly talented, and there were so many fun, unexpected moments throughout the night.
And then, of course, our wedding venue at High Camp in Palisades Tahoe completely lost power.
What could have brought the celebration to a screeching halt somehow turned into one of the most memorable nights of our lives, and Sounds Elevated deserves an enormous amount of credit for that. Ian and the team immediately jumped into action, finding creative ways to keep the music going while we figured out how to move an entire wedding down the mountain to our backup venue. Between battery-powered speakers, Fabio's congas making the trip in his car, and the team packing up and relocating their equipment, their flexibility and determination were incredible.
Once we got to our new venue, they picked up right where we left off. The dance floor was absolutely packed, the energy was amazing, and the party kept going until the venue finally shut us down! We honestly couldn't have asked for a better ending to our wedding.
Beyond being incredibly talented musicians, Ian, Fabio, Caleb, and the entire Sounds Elevated crew are just genuinely great people. They were professional, flexible, fun, and clearly cared about making our wedding an incredible experience, even when absolutely nothing went according to plan.
We've had so many guests tell us how much they loved the music and how unforgettable the night was. We couldn't agree more.
