We cater to DJ'ing for small to medium sized weddings and private events, in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. If you're holding a special celebration, then we'd like to bring the theme music! We've been DJ'ing since the 90's, using good ol' turntables and records. We're still doing it, but with updated music of course, and digital equipment. Our passion for the music has remained the same, and we believe that is the most important thing about being a DJ. 25 years of DJ'ing, plus 20+ years of working in the corporate world has taught us that customer service, response time, punctuality, reliable equipment, etc. are simply requirements for the job, and should not be compromised. Era to era, genre to genre.. some things never change: we simply want to play the music that moves the soul.

    Jon was so communicative with us the entire time and was very patient with our indecision on songs and timing of different parts of our evening. His equipment functioned flawlessly at both the ceremony and the reception. He was able to provide support and equipment to our friend who played piano for us during the ceremony. Everyone loved our reception dance songs and had a great time!

    From the moment we first spoke with Block Party Entertainment, we were impressed by his quick responses, understanding of our vision, and ability to put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, Jon’s amazing DJ skills were on full display - the dance floor was packed all night long as our guests raved about the music selection.     Jon was fantastic! He was easy to work with, very prepared, and he was extremely gracious as the day ebbed and flowed. We had several timing adjustments and special songs playing at unexpected moments and he made everything work seamlessly!
