We cater to DJ'ing for small to medium sized weddings and private events, in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. If you're holding a special celebration, then we'd like to bring the theme music! We've been DJ'ing since the 90's, using good ol' turntables and records. We're still doing it, but with updated music of course, and digital equipment. Our passion for the music has remained the same, and we believe that is the most important thing about being a DJ. 25 years of DJ'ing, plus 20+ years of working in the corporate world has taught us that customer service, response time, punctuality, reliable equipment, etc. are simply requirements for the job, and should not be compromised. Era to era, genre to genre.. some things never change: we simply want to play the music that moves the soul.

Best wedding DJ
Block Party Entertainment was the best DJ we could have hired for our wedding! They are excellent and proactive communicators and planners, with a meticulous attention to detail. From the moment we booked them, they were professional, timely, and easy to reach, helping us coordinate all the details of our wedding day. On the big day, they truly knew how to bring the party and create a fun, positive atmosphere. Our guests were up and dancing all night, complimenting the great playlist and personable, friendly vibe of the DJs. They made our wedding night so memorable and fun - we couldn't have asked for better entertainment! The reasonable cost for their top-notch service was an added bonus. We highly recommend Block Party Entertainment to any couple looking for DJs who will help make their wedding day truly special.

DJ Jon was amazing!!! He kept our party going all night long until the end and then some. He was super easy to work with, very organized and communication was on point. I would definitely recommend Block Party Entertainment a million times over. Thank you for making our wedding amazing and so much fun!

Jon was so communicative with us the entire time and was very patient with our indecision on songs and timing of different parts of our evening. His equipment functioned flawlessly at both the ceremony and the reception. He was able to provide support and equipment to our friend who played piano for us during the ceremony. Everyone loved our reception dance songs and had a great time!
