DJ Shazaam was incredible and absolutely made this event. He DJ’d a kids-and-parents Minecraft rave birthday party and created the perfect balance of fun for both children and adults. The dance floor was full the entire time. His mixes and mashups were playful, high energy, and age appropriate, and his professional setup sounded great in our dome space. He has a fantastic personality and was a joy to work with. I highly recommend him for kids parties, family events, and community celebrations where you want everyone dancing together.

Do yourself a favor and hire Adam/DJ Shazam now. Days after the wedding, we still had people reaching out to tell us how great Adam was: “DJ Shazam was everything.” “He was so good. That was the most fun we’ve had at a wedding since ours.” Beyond obviously bringing the party and good vibes, Adam was incredibly professional and easy to work with. We never expected our DJ to actually want to get to know us, but on every call leading up to the wedding, Adam made it a point to understand who we are and what we envisioned for the day. He asked thoughtful, detailed questions that showed how deeply he cares about creating something more meaningful than just a bomb set list (which, he absolutely overdelivers on). He builds an experience that feels personal, intentional, and wildly fun. Wedding planning can be stressful, but every time we talked to Adam, it reminded us why we were doing all of this and got us genuinely excited for the big day. If you’re looking for a DJ who’s extremely organized, professional, and able to take your ideas (or help you figure them out) and make them even better - hire Adam/DJ Shazam now. You want the classics? He’s got ‘em. You want a fresh twist on the classics that’ll get your crowd hyped, even if you don’t quite know what that looks like? He’s got that too. We were introduced to DJ Shazam through our wedding planner. Once I heard his mixes, I knew we would be a great fit. DJ Shazam did an amazing job at our wedding. He was super helpful throughout the entire process, guiding us through song selection, reception flow, first dance and parent dances, and other important choices. When I told him I liked remixed Motown song, he knew exactly the right mixes to use. We had different playlists for the different phases of the wedding (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) and he did an excellent job mixing it all together. His mixing, audio equipment and lighting were all top notch and created a super fun atmosphere throughout our wedding. What we appreciated most was the tremendous energy DJ Shazam brought to our wedding - our guests were literally on the dance floor until the very, very end!

From the moment we had our first call with DJ Adam, we felt connected, seen, and excited to work with him. Leading up to the event, he was communicative, upbeat, and supportive. He provided a platform allowing us to add must play songs that we were able to easily contribute to during the months leading up to the wedding. The calls with him always left us even more excited! At the actual event, we cannot say enough about how major of a role he played in making our wedding so memorable, special, and fun. He was present and excited without being the center of attention, and his love for what he does is undeniable. During and after our wedding, one of the first things that guests have told us is how much they loved the DJ and how excellent of a job he did at cultivating the vibes and keeping the dancefloor packed. Multiple guests have told us that they never dance at weddings, but found themselves on the dancefloor the entire night. We absolutely loved working with DJ Shazam and cannot recommend him highly enough!

Always! If we're not learning, we're falling behind. Spotify (and other music streaming) are such brilliant tools. They allow couples to share their unique playlist, curated somewhat by the algorithm, so that I can learn - and align exactly with - your vibe.

Yes! At the end of the day, music requests are up to you. You'll be able to communicate this via our planning form on Vibo DJ

Absolutely! In addition, I bring high-quality and reliable wireless microphones, as well as backups in the wild case that something goes wrong (99.9% of the time everything runs super smooth!)

Absolutely! Share the playlist from your streaming service of choice, or YouTube link, and I'll incorporate those jams from any culture. In addition, I will do research, scouring the internet to learn about the cultural staples to throw in a fun surprise here and there ;)

Yes! Every year I renew my General Liability Insurance and update my partner venues with the updated Certificate of Insurance (COI).

I arrive 2-3 hours early depending on the venue and how much equipment is needed in the package you book.

Yes. We have uplighting and photo booth in house, and have partners across the San Francisco Bay Area for crazy light shows, dancing on the clouds, LED screens -anything you can dream of!
