Hello! We are an esteemed collective of professional string musicians based in the San Francisco Bay Area, dedicated to bringing beautiful, live string quartet music to weddings and private events. We offer vibrant performances of romantic wedding favorites, contemporary popular hits, and timeless classics that will make your event truly memorable.

Bellissima Music is a local boutique string ensemble. This means that our group is a tight team of seasoned professionals who play together often, unlike some agencies that might assemble musicians who barely know each other. We are 100% focused on customer's satisfaction, personal attention and clear communication. We pride ourselves on our versatility and huge high-quality repertoire -- with over 1000 songs to choose from. Special music arrangements are also welcomed! Based on your budget and venue, our ensemble can perform as string quartet, trio, duet or solo.

Highly recommend the solo violinist!

We got married at our church in Los Altos, and hiring Joel as the solo violinist was one of the best decisions we made. He played his own arrangement of "Sabor a Mi" for my entrance and it was beyond perfect. Hearing my favorite romantic song on a violin as I walked down the aisle was incredibly emotional. So many of our guests commented about how beautiful and unique the music was. He was professional, easy to work with, and his sound was amazing. We are so grateful he was part of our day!

What a talented group of musicians! Bellissima Music was a joy to work with — the hiring process was smooth, clear, and very helpful. They provided a lengthy and thoughtful song list to help me craft the perfect setlist. They were punctual and responsive, and did a fantastic job performing at my wedding. They are truly wonderful to listen to, and many of my guests mentioned them as one of the highlights of the day. I would highly recommend them for any event!

They coordinated seamlessly with our coordinator and adapted effortlessly to our wedding agenda -- prelude, entrances, recessional. If you're looking for musicians who will bring real heart and artistry to your wedding, Bellissima Music is the one. Truly worth every penny.

While the standard attire for our ensembles is concert black, you can request more or less formal wear for the musicians depending on the mood of the event.

Yes, we do. If we can't find sheet music for the requested song, we can create a custom arrangement for you for a fee. Please let us know at least 4 weeks in advance for any custom arrangements.

We are a close-knit group of local professional musicians who play together frequently, not strangers booked for a gig. We offer personal attention and music tailored to each couple and event.

Absolutely. If we can't find sheet music for the requested song, we can also create a custom arrangement for you for a fee. Often we are asked to accompany a family member or loved one in performing a meaningful song. We just need to know who will be joining us, and we will be delighted to support them and make the experience truly special.

Yes, we provide music for both.

We normally show up at least 15 minutes before the start of the event and stay an extra 15 minutes after the agreed service time is over.
