Founder and owner

Amore Strings is a group of conservatory trained musicians specializing in all strings (violin, viola, cello, harp, guitar and piano) and can offer you solo, duo, trio and quartet options. We play throughout the Bay Area and Wine Country and are a preferred vendor at San Francisco City Hall.     Great Performance

    Amore Strings made our wedding day so special. From our first conversation, they were quick to respond and easy to work with, which helped a lot since we were running around and never got a formal setup done. They understood our situation and adapted to our needs without any complaints. What really impressed us was their willingness to learn a K-pop song we wanted for our first dance song. They nailed it on the day of the wedding. The musicianship was excellent; every song came through crystal clear so our guests could really enjoy it. We'd recommend Amore Strings to any couple looking for a band that's both skilled and genuinely flexible.

    Bridgerton and modern music on strings!

    We absolutely loved having live strings at our wedding! They created the most beautiful atmosphere for our cocktail hour and brought our vision to life perfectly. We wanted something romantic and elegant, but still modern and fun, and their Bridgerton-inspired arrangements were exactly that. They also were able to play POV by Ariana Grande as I walked down the aisle :) They were wonderful to work and made the process super easy. They had a library of songs to pick from but you can ofc request anything else you'd like. Our guests loved it!

    Beautifully Played

    From my first conversation with Amore Strings, I knew I had made the right choice in booking for our wedding . They answered every question we had and stayed in touch throughout the planning process, which made us feel confident and supported. On the day of our wedding, AS musicians arrived on time and delivered exactly what we hoped for! They played beautifully!! What really stood out was how kind and genuine the musicians were; they introduced themselves and even showed me the music sheet of the song I requested them to play that want apart of their playlist. I appreciate their willingness to learn a new song for my husband and I’s big day. We will never forget the care they brought to our special day, and we would absolutely book them again for future events. If you're looking for a string ensemble that combines professionalism with warmth, Amore Strings is the answer.

    Perfect ceremony ambience with Amore Strings!

    Working with Cynthia and the Amore Strings team was one of the easiest and best decisions I made for my wedding! From the beginning, Cynthia was very communicative and promptly answered all the questions I had and made it very easy to make song requests that weren't on their current song list. At the ceremony, the trio played beautifully and followed every instruction we had given them. They set the perfect ambience and we received many compliments from our guests who loved their performance as well. It was a true pleasure to work with Cynthia and Amore Strings!

Yes we do! If you can't find that special song on our list of over 1000 songs, let us know. We'll research the availability of the music and provide you a quote. Prices can range from $30 to $200 depending on your ensemble and whether we have to write a special arrangement.
Yes we are. We carry liability insurance for $1 million per event and can list your venue as an additional insured.
The process is more alchemy than formula. You'll want to consider several factors including the number of guests, the location, desired ambiance, musical styles, and budget. For example, a solo violin doesn't really do justice to the spoken lyrics of Rap, but is a great fit for lyrical love songs. A string quartet is the OG ensemble with rhythm, harmony and a full musical texture. But a trio does nearly the same thing if you're on a budget. Amore Strings can offer an ensemble for every vision. Typically musicians wear all black. But if your wedding has a special style or theme let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate.
Both! We offer one-hour packages for the ceremony, and longer packages that include the ceremony and cocktail reception. We can also add hours for a dinner as well.
