Unfortunately, she got sent home that day, but the artist in her was born! Working with flowers, and making events beautiful for her clients, has provided Karla with an outlet that is very fulfilling for her. It creates a balance, and zen for her, which fills, balances, and feeds her soul.

I've never been much for tradition, so you can imagine weddings were never really my "thing" when I first picked up a camera. Luckily, I found that the wedding industry has been evolving away from the old cookie-cutter format and that is what keeps me doing what I do. The best way to describe my work is a mix of National Geographic and GQ/Vogue.
