A timeless and classic room with ocean views from every window
A light-filled space with vaulted, open-beamed ceilings and sweeping views of Monterey Bay sets the tone for your entire celebration. The adjoining private deck invites guests outside to take it all in, while everything you need is already in place to make the day feel effortless. During open hours, your guests can even explore the exhibits—adding a unique, memorable touch to the experience.

Swimmingly Perfect
Our wedding at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center was an absolutely unforgettable experience, and we're still glowing from the memories! The venue itself is breathtaking, with that stunning ocean overlook providing the most magical backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The unique combination of natural beauty and the interactive exhibits and aquarium really made our celebration stand out. Our guests were absolutely charmed and engaged throughout the entire event – it was truly a 'fin-tastic' time! We can't say enough about the entire team. On-site, Venk and Cassidy were simply phenomenal. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor were invaluable during the planning process and on the day itself. They were incredibly responsive, attentive to every detail, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was perfect. Their expertise and genuine enthusiasm made us feel completely at ease. They were always there to lend a 'helping fin' and made sure everything went 'swimmingly.' Behind the scenes, Emily and Audrey were equally amazing, providing prompt and helpful responses to all our email inquiries. They really helped us 'navigate' the planning process with ease. The Seymour Marine Discovery Center delivered a truly unique and memorable wedding experience. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, educational charm, and exceptional service, we wholeheartedly recommend it. Seymour Marine Discovery Center was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the start, their communication was prompt, clear and easygoing, which made the planning process a breeze. The space itself is naturally beautiful and unique - our guests loved exploring the touch tanks during cocktail hour and spotting dolphins, otters and migrating pelicans from the outdoor area. Seymour truly made the event spectacular - they were super flexible, have an awesome unique space, and provide value for money that can't be found literally anywhere else. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue!

Perfect Venue
The Seymour Center was absolutely perfect! The ocean view from the bluffs was an amazing backdrop to our ceremony and the exhibit hall was such a unique space for the reception. All of our guests raved about how amazing our venue was and the touch pool was a big hit with the kids. It was also meaningful to us that our money goes to fund marine outreach and education. The event staff were so accommodating, professional, and prompt when answering our hundreds of questions. Thank you Emily, Audrey, and the rest of the staff!
