About this venue
Mission Vineyard Ranch is a family-owned wedding and event space where elegance and intimacy meet California beauty and history. Located on a working ranch in San Juan Bautista, we are just 40 minutes south of San Jose, 30 minutes east of the coastal towns of Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea, and on the doorstep of a historic Mission town, a wine trail, and an array of outdoor recreation areas.

Putting a wedding together is no small task! The Stay the Night package allows you to extend your ranch experience by adding sleeping accommodations for up to 15 people right on the property. Unfortunately, we cannot welcome pets at this time. Includes coffee and tea in the mornings.

Perfect for a destination wedding
Mission Vineyard Ranch has everything we were looking for: a beautiful California setting, a relaxed energy, experienced staff and overnight accommodations. Plus, it is somehow feels both off-the-beaten path and accessible. Living in San Francisco, with friends and relatives flying in from faraway places, we wanted a place people could get to easily and enjoy a whole weekend experience. Mission Vineyard Ranch was this place! Though the town of San Juan Bautista is not bursting with luxury accommodations, even our luxury-seeking guests loved their stay! The inn was clean and nice and the limited options meant that everyone stayed together and kept the party going all weekend with walks along the cute main street and meet ups at the local restaurants. We had our rehearsal dinner at a nearby winery and added on a ranch walk with Rancher Joe. With dancing around the pool and brunch the next day, it was truly magical.

We recently had our wedding at Mission Vineyard Ranch, and it turned out even better than we imagined. The venue is absolutely beautiful, especially during sunset with the open skies — and photos simply don’t do justice to the view. Katie, our host, was incredible from start to finish. She was professional, warm, and always quick to help with any questions or details. She made the entire planning process and wedding day completely stress-free, and there’s nothing more we could have asked for. The venue is also very fairly priced, and we had access to it for the entire weekend, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. It’s such an intimate and charming place, and all our friends and family loved it. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, I highly recommend visiting Mission Vineyard Ranch in person to truly appreciate its beauty!
