    Cocoanut Grove

    Fabulous place, fabulous view, fabulous dancing, and fabulous food. A great venue for a wedding reception, or a corporate function. Plenty of room for plenty of people, and truly an unforgettable adventure. Has a long and fascinating history if only the walls could talk. You will love this place.

    Sun room!

    Wow, this is a cool event space! Spacious ballroom, gorgeous views of the ocean, a very neat sun room, and a disco ball to boot. I wish I could go back (waaay back) in time and have my prom here! Cocoanut grove can hold ALOT of people. There's a bar available for use, and three different rooms that could be utilized depending on the size of the event. This would be a great venue for a wedding reception, dance, reunion, or company holiday party.

The adjacent Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's peak season is May through August. We do not book weddings during these months.
The adjacent Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's off-season is September through April. We only book weddings during these months. We do not book wedding on Saturdays, but some exceptions may be made.
Allow our Chef and culinary team to cater to all your guests' needs! All food and beverage arrangements, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, must be made through The Grove. No outside food or beverages are allowed, except the cake/dessert. We offer a wide variety of options to satisfy all of your celebratory needs.
Onsite parking is located directly across the street.
Our venue is fully accessible.
We require that you appoint one point of contact for all planning; the In-house Event Planner will not engage in planning with additional contacts. We also require that you provide your own day-of coordinator to run the logistics of the ceremony and/or reception.
The Grove does not require you to use our approved vendors, but we are happy to recommend a variety of professionals who may assist you with providing services to enhance your event. The Grove must approve all contracted event professionals.
Any decorations or displays brought into The Grove must be approved prior to the event. The Grove does not permit items to be attached to any wall, floor, window, or ceiling with nails, tape, staples or any other substance. Candles are allowed, but the flame must be below the rim of the candle holder. Additionally, we do not permit any confetti, glitter, rice, or real petals to be used.
The Grove does not allow outside catering, with the exception of a wedding cake.
