“We found Brandon through our wedding planner Christine Garrison of CMG Events. She suggested him because we were interested in having someone play acoustic guitar and singing during the wedding. After chatting with Brandon, we hired him to play the guitar for our ceremony, act as a wandering minstrel during the cocktail hour, and DJ the entire event. Our ceremony took place outdoors in an open lawn area. Brandon did a great job with setting up the sound. Everyone was able to hear both us and the officiant clearly. The acoustic rendition of Heartbeats (Jose Gonzalez) and Wildflowers (Tom Petty) he played for our processional and recessional were beautiful and really set the mood we were looking for. Brandon also did a great job DJing the event. He was able to take a small number of songs and expand the playlist to not only fit our tastes but keep the party hopping. We had expected that we would have minimal dancing and that our crowd would mostly just sit around chatting. However, Brandon was able to keep the energy up and the dance floor going throughout the night. It far exceeded our expectations and made the night really memorable. He was extremely professional throughout the planning process. We had several calls leading up to the wedding, and he made it easy to communicate what we were looking for in the event. We added songs to a few different playlists which he used as a jumping off point. He also provided suggestions for all the important moments (e.g., processionals, recessional, first dance, grand entrance). His contract and other documents were also clear and always sent promptly. On the day of Brandon arrived on time for set up and did a great job with all aspects (sound, DJing, acoustic performance, and lighting) of the event. He looked extremely professional and was communicative throughout the day, constantly checking in with the planner and us to make sure everything was going well. If he wasn’t sure about a song, he’d ask before playing it. Best of all, he was extremely reasonably priced. His assistant, Josh, was also very nice and did a great job.”

“DJ Conner was absolutely amazing and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the dancing music and all the music played throughout the evening. He listened to our music needs, which were not the clearest at times, but nonetheless he came up with a great playlist that fit the diverse age range and what we were envisioning. It seemed that all the guests were dancing on the dance floor at some point in the evening. Just recently a guest from the wedding reached out commenting how Conner was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard. Conner brings a cool, sophisticated vibe that is truly great for all age demographics. Additionally, Conner was super professional, on time, and had state of the art sound equipment. He also did an incredible job micing the night and keeping the pace. The fact that I didn't want the night to end speaks volumes to how much I enjoyed our wedding and a big part of that was the music. Hiring the right DJ is one of the best wedding decisions we made and was also way more cost effective than a live band. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“When I started planning my 40th birthday party, I couldn't decide between a band or a DJ. Each one I was looking at was just not the vibe and I was starting to get discouraged. Then, a friend of mine posted a story at a party where Tyler was DJing/playing the sax, and right away I knew he was the missing piece. I've attended parties with a sax player before, but NEVER like this and never one who does BOTH the DJing AND the sax! From the moment I reached out, Tyler was incredible. He followed up quickly and was great with all communications - we hopped on a call and to go over my theme and ideas, and he was so receptive and amazing with adding in things to help take my existing ideas to the next level. He even helped with the floor plan suggestions to help ensure my goal of "everyone being on the dance floor with me all night" would be more achievable - and omg am I glad I listened. Additionally, he suggested extending the party 1 hour, and thankfully we did because my initial timing guess was way off. Bottom line - trust him, HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. At the same time, he was never pushy and I never felt like I HAD to go with his ideas, but again, so glad I did. On the night of the party, from start to finish Tyler and his team were flawless. He made sure to play all of my "must play" songs, and read the vibes of the room perfectly - I've truly never seen some of my guests dance this much EVER. The amount of people who came up to me that night and have texted and called me since to tell me how epic Tyler and his team were is not surprising in the least. Multiple guests described it as the "best party they've ever been to" and said they "haven't danced that much since college" (and let's just say, it's been at least 15-20 years since then for all of us). One of my friends even booked him on the spot for her upcoming birthday! I could truly go on and on, but I will just end with this - DON'T THINK TWICE, DON'T BOTHER LOOKING ELSEWHERE, BOOK TYLER. You will NOT regret it! Thanks Tyler and team for the most epic night of my life!!! (also, I wish I could upload videos here because photos don't do any justice!!!)”

The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! “My husband and I got married this past August and I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while but we had a big move and time got away from us. As a wedding vendor myself I know how important it is to have a DJ that can balance fun and professionalism, but Joey Chang did just that. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. If you want your wedding to be classy, romantic, a total rager, and go off without a hitch, I would highly recommend hiring Cello Joe!”

We chose them because we heard them at our friends’ wedding, and it was the best wedding band we had ever heard. They played songs that weren’t the typical songs you always hear at weddings (and get bored/sick of), and they sounded EXACTLY like the original version of the song - incredible musicians and vocals. My now husband is a former professional musician, so the music at our wedding was extremely important to us, and we knew they were the only choice. From their communication throughout our planning, to their extensive song list, to the option for them to learn specials songs just for us (which they crushed), The Moon Units were nothing short of spectacular.
