Hey, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a wedding photographer, yes — but more than that, I’m someone who deeply values connection. I love getting to know my couples, their families, and their chosen families. I photograph all kinds of love, but I’m especially proud to serve the LGBTQIA+ community. As a lesbian and someone who’s been through the wedding planning process with my amazing wife, I know how powerful representation is — and how much it matters. Whether you’re queer or an ally, I’m honored you’ve found your way here. Tell me your love story, and let’s show the world just how magical it is.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Michelle was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she made us feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Her communication was warm and effortless, and she brought a calming presence to every interaction. More than a photographer, she was a guide who helped us craft a timeline, anticipate small details, and stay fully present throughout the day. Michelle’s ability to blend digital and film photography created the most stunning, timeless images. She captured genuine emotion and connection, not just posed moments. We never felt staged or rushed, and she let our day unfold naturally while documenting everything with intention and artistry. As an LGBTQ couple, we especially appreciated how affirming and inclusive Michelle was. She created a space where we felt completely ourselves, which shows clearly in every photo. Her sensitivity, professionalism, and genuine joy for our celebration meant the world to us. Our sneak peak gallery is everything we hoped for and more; we cannot wait to see the final gallery. Michelle's photos are elegant, emotional, and full of life. Michelle is an extraordinary artist and an even better human being. If you are looking for someone who will not only photograph your wedding but also elevate the entire experience, Michelle is the one. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

My name is Freddy and I am a Documentary styled photographer based out of Fresno, CA. I have been doing photography since 2018. I found my passion in wedding photography by watching romantic love pieces. I love to make my photos feel as if they if they forever freeze time in a picture that will last you years to come.

We hired Freddy (BYX Photography) To capture our wedding day this past December of 2022. We absolutely loved working with him & loved the photos he captured for us that we'll be able to cherish for the rest of our lives. Freddy was so sweet, He was not only professional but he made the entire experience effortless on our part which as the Bride & Groom was so amazing. Freddy went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was noted down & he made sure to follow through the day of. He made me feel so comfortable while photographing my "getting ready" photos, All of my bridesmaids had requests for photos they wanted to take and he worked well with everyone and was open to ideas/poses we had in mind. Freddy prepared a contract and made sure to answer any questions we had while going over the agreement. As far as pricing I personally think it was great & more cost effective than other photographers I previously looked into. Everything was done In a timely manner and he did a wonderful job communicating with us in regards to when our photos would be finalized and any other details we needed to be aware of.

When I found Geroge Street and had our first meeting I knew this was who I was going to go with. They were able to answer all of my questions and were very transparent about their pricing. There was no hidden fees. They also worked with me on payment. Instead of 4 big payments they let me do monthly payments. Our photographer Scara was amazing. She made taking photos for hours a lot of fun. They turned out so good!! I cannot wait to get them printed out. Our wedding coordinator Nora was also a lot of help as well. Totally recommend George Street for your wedding photography.

Ali Cushing Photography
Rating: 5.0 (33 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,750
  • Serves San Joaquin, CA

My name is Ali Cushing; a NY-based photographer working in a blended documentary and editorial approach, emphasized with a cinematic method, and a personalized, true to life editing style. I am honored to be entrusted with depicting genuine love, authentic characters, and immortalizing precious memories. I see beauty in the subtle details as much as the wide, epic scene, while I see glory in the mundane in-between moments as much as the heart thudding highs. I am adamant that everyone, of all genders and orientations, any ethnicity, culture, or faith, all shapes, ages, and abilities, are welcome and I’d be delighted to work with you.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! On the wedding day Ali and the second shooter Scottie were rockstars! They went above and beyond at every opportunity from helping the boys tie a bow tie, climbing out on my fire escape to get a crazy photo that I had in mind, moving locations at last minute, dealing with rain, helping bustle my dress, and of course capturing all the beauty of our perfect day. I will not hesitate to work with Ali and her team again! She’s amazing, a true professional, and I hope we have the chance to have her capture our big milestones in the years to come.

We are incredibly grateful Xenia was our engagement/wedding photographer and couldn't be happier with the results! The photos will speak to her technical talent; her professionalism and dedication to her craft are evident in every shot. It was so hard for me to only select 6 photos. What the images don't explicitly show is that Xenia was an absolute joy to work with. She is clear, transparent, and helpful in her communication. Her straightforward and friendly communication ensured we were always on the same page and felt supported throughout the process. While shooting, she is organized and efficient. We got every shot we hoped for and then some. Her enthusiasm and joy were infectious. She made these two awkward nerds feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. We cannot recommend Xenia enough! We will cherish the photos you took forever!

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
We worked with Kathryn for our October 2024 Hindu/Jewish blended wedding and were so happy with our decision!! We spoke with MANY photographers during the planning process trying to decide who fit our style and personality leading up to our wedding. Neither of us feel super comfortable in front of the camera so it was important to us that we found someone who truly fit us and what we were looking for. Kathryn's warmth, adventurous spirit, and genuine curiosity about us as a couple really stood out, and we immediately knew she was who we wanted to work with. We had a large wedding with many Hindu/Jewish traditions making the day busy & hectic, but Kathryn's professionalism and calm attitude made us feel at ease. We really appreciated how on top of it she was, sticking to our timeline and facilitating our rather large (and rowdy!) group, all while making the staged photos seamless and the candids from the reception/baraat so special and a true representation our special day. The colors are just magnificent, and we had many guests compliment her work, fun nature, and professionalism throughout the night. Thank you Kathryn for making our day so wonderful!!

I was born and raised in the Philippines but now call Northern California my home. I've been a photographer for over a decade and that journey has made me come to realize that nothing makes me happier than making those behind my lens feel amazing about themselves. My goal is to be so much more than your photographer. I'd love for you to consider me your friend especially because we'll be spending a lot of time together on your wedding day. Trust me to help fix any strands of hair that get in your face, straighten out your outfits, help you pose, and encourage you to enjoy this momentous day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Run, don’t walk! My husband and I had the most amazing experience working with Tooney. She is incredibly talented, and kind, her warmth radiates into her photography. My husband and I decided to elope with very short notice and she was able to accommodate us even when leaving town for a big gig on the weekend. We also don’t have experience posing much and she was so skilled at giving us direction. But most importantly it just felt like fun! My husband (who hates taking pictures) said “We got the best photographer possible, she made this so fun”. We got our sneak peeks in just 2 days and we are so ecstatic about the gallery we got. We plan to do a bigger celebration with extended family and friends and will absolutely reach out to Tooney again. You’re in great hands with her!

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in New York and Connecticut. I capture moments that feel alive—honest, emotional, and deeply meaningful. While I love beautifully decorated weddings, I’m equally passionate about photographing celebrations that are simple, imperfect, and real. Your florals don’t need to be full, and your venue doesn’t need to be luxurious. What matters most is your connection. I’m especially drawn to noticing the most touching moments in any setting—your emotions, your interactions, and the quiet love you share.

Awarded Best of Zola
I am so grateful she was there for my big day—her presence made everything feel effortless and truly special. From the very beginning, she was incredibly thoughtful and professional. Before the shoot, we met to discuss our ideas, and she took the time to truly understand our vision. Not only did she listen attentively, but she also shared her own creative suggestions based on her research, making everything even better than we had imagined. On the day of the shoot, having her there felt like having a trusted guide and a dear friend by my side, capturing beautiful moments in the most natural way. She created such a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that I never once worried about how the photos would turn out—I simply enjoyed the moment. Her presence on my ceremony day wasn’t just about taking pictures; she played a key role in making sure everything went smoothly. When we received the final photos, my husband and I were beyond thrilled. Each image felt like a window back to that magical day, filled with love and joy. We couldn’t stop looking at them! Her talent, patience, and warmth made this experience truly unforgettable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who can capture not just pictures, but emotions and memories that last a lifetime.

From the very first contact, he was incredibly responsive (super important to us), friendly and professional. His work looked great so we were excited - then we found out he was featured in Vogue! We were stoked. He was amazing to work with on the wedding day - punctual, friendly, got all the requested shots, and the whole bridal party loved him. We got our pictures back today - and they’re so much better than we could have dreamed of. It’s no wonder he was featured in Vogue - his work is artistic, candid, and beautiful. Thank you Caz for giving us such beautiful memories so we can relive the best day of our lives.

Hi! My name is Steve. I do visual storytelling. I’m married with three kids and in my spare time I record music and build things. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I love travel and getting to know unique couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!
