Hey, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a wedding photographer, yes — but more than that, I’m someone who deeply values connection. I love getting to know my couples, their families, and their chosen families. I photograph all kinds of love, but I’m especially proud to serve the LGBTQIA+ community. As a lesbian and someone who’s been through the wedding planning process with my amazing wife, I know how powerful representation is — and how much it matters. A master at her craft!
What an amazing experience! Michelle is truly one of the best photographers out there. She captured our surprise proposal beautifully! She even gave us Polaroids immediately following our session. She’s truly an artist. We have gotten so many compliments on just our sneak peek photos alone. My favorite one so far has to be “These pictures are stunning! Please pass her info along to us!” We have passed her info along to multiple friends who have asked already. I was so nervous getting all the fine details in place after weeks and weeks of prepping. Michelle was able to coordinate with our venue and make everything work so seamlessly. Michelle had everything and more when it came to having multiple cameras/ styles. You get quality and quantity. We are so happy with everything. My fiancé and I knew we were in great hands from start to finish. She captured exactly what we were looking for. She gave us great direction and made everything so effortless and comfortable. I am not the most comfortable in front of a camera so that is saying a lot! Cannot wait to use her for our future pictures/events. Truly a master at her craft! 10/10 experience. So glad we chose Michelle Gunn photography.

When looking for a photographer for our wedding it was very important for us to be photographed by somebody who saw us. As a Queer, Lesbian couple we wanted somebody who could truly capture our joy, love, and friendship in each other. We found that in Michelle. She is pure joy herself, radiating kindness and empathy. In our first meeting she was all smiles and laughter, really putting us at ease and helping guide our decisions. My wife has been disabled by brain cancer and Michelle not only worked within those limitations with kindness and patience, but with expertise and gentle guidance as well. She went the extra mile to assist me in finding a makeup artist, knowing I preferred a Queer or LGBTQIA artist, she offered me a selection of talented artists to choose from that she had previously worked with and vetted. The day of the event, she was punctual (even tho I was not lol), kept us on a schedule, and worked so well with my huge wedding party. She kept them all focused and kept the day moving for us without making anybody feel pressured-she would be an excellent cat herder if photographer doesn’t work out lol She stayed with us longer than obligated to, so as to be sure to capture every special moment and for that we are truly grateful. Before leaving she offered us a small parting gift, an album of behind the scenes instax photos which was the hit of the party. If looking for a professional, kind, empathetic, and most of all FUN photographer for your special events, look no further than Michelle, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic second shooter!
HIRE MICHELLE! Michelle was brought on to serve as a second shooter for my wedding and was responsible for capturing guest photos and groom family portraits. All of my guests and other vendors loved her, she produced amazing photos, and took great care of everyone. She is incredibly thoughtful in capturing as many people as possible and always puts them in the best light. One of my friends who consistently hates taking pics was blown away by how much she loved Michelle's pics. Can't recommend her enough.
