I had a very unique style wedding and most of it I tried to do DIY. In a nutshell, it became extremely overwhelming for me, so I asked my planner Rebecca to assist. Her and the owner were so kind enough to make my original package of Day of Planning, to Full planning at a discount! Saved my whole wedding day. I cried a few days before my wedding because remembering all the months prior, they were there for me every step of the way. And on the day, everyone kept asking me, Is your planner a friend of yours? I honestly told them, 100% yes. :) Because I feel like we now are friends. Such a family orientated company. I highly recommend.

Growing up amongst the valley vines snug between the San Joaquin River and a little pheasant barn, my love for events sparked. Whilst tasting wine, and artfully styling tables the name Hans Happenings came about. What is ever not Happening with Hannah? Blooming with three brothers led my way into sports, paintball, and etc but, after moving to England my eyes opened to the many frilly things! My London life consisted of tea parties, and girls’ nights out. The Central Valley had my heart so I returned to the Oasis of Fresno (Ziveli Winery) to further my passion for Events. Falling in love with events in a different way than I had before.

Hans Happenings made the wedding of my dreams become a reality! Instantly after meeting with Hannah we knew that she was going to be perfect! She started us off by asking us intentional questions that got to the root of what me and my husband were both hoping for with our wedding! She then came back to us with an entirely personalized wedding portfolio where she had photo inspiration and detailed descriptions of every aspect of the wedding day. This gave my husband and I insight into just how wonderful our day would be! This portfolio was then a great reference for all our other vendors, that Hannah went above and beyond to connect us with! Communication was clear and thoughtful throughout the whole process! She made the whole wedding process much more seamless! By the time the day of came, Hannah effortlessly coordinated and styled our wedding beyond our expectations. Everything was well thought out and each and every detail was so intentional to help my husband and I tell our story! If you are looking for someone to style, coordinate or even just help you get the ball rolling with a consultation, Hans Happenings will be your girl! I could not recommend her enough!

Valley Decors provided good communication throughout the planning process, though we felt communication could have been better on the day of the event. However, they still did an excellent job overall. The team at Valley Decors set up the event flawlessly for our 350 guests - everything came out perfect. They have a great team that works well together. The only downside was that they picked up rented items like the table runner and napkins before the night was over, which I didn't appreciate, though I understand they needed to collect plates and glassware. Despite this, Grace and Travis were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond, even stepping in when one of our other vendors fell short on tables and linens. They provided amazing rentals and were able to quickly deliver extra tables and freshly ironed linens with less than 24 hours notice. Although there were a few minor hiccups on our wedding day that were out of their control, Grace and Travis provided an exceptional setup and coordination for our event.

Hiring Ashley at Rose Event Co as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. I thought I was going to be able to manage planning our entire wedding myself, but as the day crept closer and closer, I realized that I was definitely going to need a hand. We spoke with a dozen different coordinators, and Ashley just stood out SO strongly amongst the rest. To put it as simply as possible, she saw our vision, she understood it, she stood in and shared in it with us. She knew exactly how to support us in making it happen, and she was easily able to make us feel that. We initially had concerns about her being located so far away from us (we're in Oakland, CA), but she put those concerns to rest so quickly! Throughout my months of planning after hiring Ashley, she was always there to answer my questions, and provide support and reassurance in all of the little things that I just wasn't sure how to handle myself, and she did so with such grace, patience, and an air of calm that was so extremely helpful and reassuring. When the month of our wedding arrived, Ashley quickly got to work on communicating with and organizing all of our vendors and laying out the structure for the day. She traveled to Monte Rio to be with us the day before our big day, walked us through the ceremony, went over all of the details, and left us so confident and comfortable in her extremely capable hands. The day of the wedding, Ashley handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE with such care and tranquility. All of our wedding vendors absolutely loved her, and we never stopped hearing about how great she was to work with! Ashley is an absolute BOSS in all of the best ways that you can imagine! She is supportive, encouraging, communicative, active, helpful, caring, the list just goes on and on. She wants you to succeed, and you can FEEL it. She remembered and double checked on all of the little details, before, during, and after our wedding, and words simply cannot express our gratitude. She did so many things automatically, that I hadn't even thought to discuss with her, but was so grateful that we had her there to do. Thank you Ashley!! She did so many little things that I didn't even realize until I started looking through all of our photos, and noticed that they had all been done. On top of all of that, she basically packed up the entirety of our decor with the assistance of her extremely helpful husband, which was such a huge relief for us and for our wedding party who had put so much into the day. We were all able to completely disconnect and just enjoy the evening, which was so unbelievably priceless. There are so many things that make Ashley stand out from other coordinators. So many coordinators that we had talked to before Ashley had a big list of things that they would NOT do, but not Ashley. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that our wedding day went perfectly, and it did, thanks to her!! HUGE bonus, she brought along her Super 8 camera, and we CANNOT WAIT to see the footage!! If you're looking for someone who has your back, and can handle ALL of the things with a level of calm that oozes into everyone around her, HIRE ASHLEY! You absolutely will not regret it. I cannot say enough good things about working with Shelley. She was hired as our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more! She gave us vendor recommendations, reached out frequently to check in, and encouraged us along the way. We had a few zoom meetings to go over details and she also went with me to my final walk through of our venue. Our wedding day was perfect. IF there was any type of issue, I didn't know about it because Shelley took care of everything. I would highly recommend her because of her skill, but also because of her kindness. She was a large part of why our day was so amazing. I can't thank her enough!!

If you take ONE piece of advice from me for your wedding: hire an incredible planner. And not just any planner - hire Ember and Stone Events. I’m not exaggerating when I say working with Niki and the Ember and Stone Events team was the best decision we made (and honestly what made everything else we spent money on actually worth it). You can have the most beautiful venue, florals, dress, etc., but if the logistics fall apart or you’re stressed the whole day… none of it hits the same. They make sure it all hits. From day one, the execution and organization were next level. Every detail was thought through ahead of time, timelines were airtight, and on the wedding day everything flowed so seamlessly that neither we nor our guests had a single clue how much was being managed behind the scenes, which is exactly the point. That is elite planning. Design-wise… I don’t even have words. Their portfolio already speaks for itself, but seeing them bring our vision to life was something else. We wanted a very specific, less traditional vibe and they absolutely nailed it - like, beyond what I could have imagined. I’m also extremely picky, and I literally cried during our room reveal because it was so stunning. They just get it, whether you want classic, high-end elegance or something more creative and unique. What really sets Ember and Stone Events apart though is how they work with you. Niki was always available (I could literally book time with her whenever I needed), handled ALL vendor communication flawlessly, and never dragged us into unnecessary back-and-forth or stress. If something needed our input, she came to us with clear options and recommendations—otherwise, she just handled it. Quietly, efficiently, perfectly. They also know all the best vendors in town, but aren’t pushy at all. If you want to bring in your own people, they’ll help vet them and make sure they’re solid. And they’re amazing at helping you stay on budget without compromising the vision. On a personal level, Niki is just such a joy to be around—genuine, calm, sparkling energy. And when I say she had our backs… she even handled a family situation that popped up on the wedding day so flawlessly that I barely had to think about it. That alone is priceless. I’m a very type-A, detail-oriented person, and let me tell you- wedding planning is a completely different beast. Ember and Stone Events somehow give you the perfect balance of control and peace of mind. You can be as involved as you want, but you never have to carry the stress. Because of them, my husband and I were able to fully be present and actually enjoy our wedding day. Not once did we think about logistics, timing, vendors - nothing. We just lived in the moment, which is exactly how it should be. Long story short: hiring Ember and Stone Events isn’t just a good decision, it’s THE decision. Could not recommend them more if I tried!
