    BRIDES BEWARE

    BRIDES BEWARE!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I contacted McKenzie on 1/3/2025 for a DOC service for a wedding on 4/26/2026. Throughout the 14 months of having her as my “DOC”, I had to reach out initially each time and only heard from her 3x- again as replies from me asking her to clarify about her services that I had purchased. I was consistently met with delayed or no replies at all. McKenzie had never called me, never asked me about any other vendors, never asked about the venue or the timeline, and absolutely failed at her job. I reached out to McKenzie for a final time a month before the wedding after not hearing from her and decided to cancel her as my DOC. After working with many vendors, her unprofessionalism is astounding. I’m not sure where the positive reviews are coming from, because that was most definitely NOT my experience. Please do not trust her with organizing your wedding. Her price may be “affordable” but you truly get what you pay for, and in my case I paid for nothing. Please book with someone who actually cares about your wedding day and not just someone who wants to make a quick buck for doing no work.

    Life savers

    Pure Velvet Events was the perfect wedding planner for us. From the very beginning, they were attentive, thoughtful, and remained calm through all the stressful moments of planning our big day. Their communication style put us at ease, and their quality of work truly saved our sanity. When our wedding rings got lost, they even let us borrow theirs for the ceremony, ensuring the day went off without a hitch. The day would not have been the same without the amazing team at Pure Velvet Events. We are forever grateful for their incredible service and dedication to making our wedding dreams a reality.
