For starters, I'm truly just your average woman who is constantly re-watching her favorite shows like Yellowstone + Greys Anatomy - I've got my hair in a bun, cozy sweatpants on and a beer logo boyfriend tee. I'm typically swing dancing in the kitchen to 'CoJo' or cookin' up some bomb ass pizza on the BBQ with my man. I'm originally from the Biggest Little City in Nevada, but I dream of owning a paint horse ranch in the texas, with a big open white and black barn and room for all my dogs! You know the ones we all see on pinterest.... but my new home in Georgia is everything I could have dreamt up and more.

I'm here to be your forever best friend, story teller, dress holder, mimosa sipper, line dance partner, friend/family wrangler and life-time hype woman. I'd like to say I'm a little bit Miranda Lambert mixed with a whole lot of Shania Twain. So dive on in, learn more about the girl behind the camera and all the things I love most..

    I hired McKenna last year for my wedding this Sept 2025 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Communication was extremely inconsistent from the start with multiple missed meetings and delayed or no responses to texts. She missed a meeting 16 days before my wedding after multiple attempts to talk with her through texting. I scheduled a meeting through her app and she still missed it. Then she used the excuse that she “had to go to the ER and a storm knocked the power out”. All the while she is finding a way to post on social media. She didn’t even bother to send a text saying she needing to reschedule because something came up. As my wedding approached, I no longer felt confident she would follow through on the services we agreed upon, even if she did show up to the wedding. When I raised my concerns regarding her flakiness and the large number of recent horrible Google reviews she had every excuse in the book. I requested a refund (while offering to pay for the engagement photos she had completed), I received no response. It has now been over two weeks with complete silence. We paid her almost 5,000 and she won’t refund us any of it. I had to hire a different photographer a week before our wedding. This has been stressful and frustrating, especially so close to such an important day. Do not use her as your wedding photographer. She can not be trusted. We will be attempting to take her to small claims court. I can’t emphasize enough how unprofessional she is.

    I am disappointed to say that my experience with McKenna Payne Photo was quite poor. From the very beginning, their communication was unreliable and unprofessional. On the day of our wedding, the photographer was chaotic upon arrival, harsh with the wedding party, and even told me that she had vomited on the way to the venue. The work they did provide, when it was finally delivered (often late), was good, but that does not make up for the unprofessional behavior and failure to meet the terms of our contract. They did not return our photos in the allocated time, and did not send any of the promised sneak peeks. When I tried to follow up via text or call, my attempts were completely ignored. I would not recommend this photographer to any couple looking to have a stress-free, professional experience on their wedding day.
