“Dominiq was such an important part of making our wedding day feel like our day. From our very first interview, we knew we were working with someone who genuinely cared about creating a personal experience. During our interview, he was actually live mixing for us, which immediately showed us how much thought and artistry he brings to what he does. He also challenged us to think beyond the music we assumed our guests would want to hear and instead really focus on the music that felt like us. That was such a meaningful part of the process because it encouraged us to bring our personalities, our tastes, and our story into the soundtrack of our wedding.
Throughout the planning process, Dominiq was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and collaborative. He took the time to understand what we wanted, answered all of our questions, and made us feel like we were truly creating the experience together. We never felt like we were simply handing over a playlist and letting someone else take it from there. He really partnered with us to understand the energy and feeling we wanted for the day.
On the wedding day, he completely understood the atmosphere we wanted to create. The music, transitions, announcements, and overall flow felt seamless and intentional. He knew when to keep the energy going and when to let a moment breathe. Most importantly, the music felt like us. It wasn't simply music that was chosen because it was expected at a wedding, it was a reflection of who we are and what we love.
Our guests had an incredible time, and the dance floor was exactly what we hoped it would be. Looking back, we are especially grateful that he pushed us to trust our own taste and not worry so much about what we thought everyone else wanted. That made the music feel so much more authentic and personal, and it became such a special part of our day.
Dominiq wasn't just our DJ, he was a true creative partner who helped make our wedding feel uniquely ours.
