I’m a San Diego-based DJ/MC with 15+ years of experience, and I love what I do. I aim to make each event feel personal, fun, and real. I’ve worked hundreds of weddings and events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to 1,000+ guests. As a musician and performer, I bring a creative approach to my DJing. I’m confident on the mic, easy to work with, and focused on making sure you and your guests are having a great time from start to finish. I’ve worked with couples from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures and have even DJed weddings internationally. I read the room, keep things flowing, set the vibe and make sure the night feels like you.

I’ve been doing this a long time, and I still love it just as much as when I started. As a musician, I approach DJing with creativity and intention, building a real experience through mixing and blending. I’m confident on the mic and on stage, so as your MC I’ll keep guests informed, engaged, and hyped for the big moments. I stay organized and make the planning process easy, always keeping your vision first.     LOOK NO FURTHER

    We had Holmes Entertainment San Diego as our DJ and couldn't have been happier with how our reception turned out. From our first conversation, michael was easy to work with and genuinely listened to what we wanted for our big day. He accommodated every request we made and kept the energy going all night long. The song selection was spot on, and he really understood the vibe we were going for. Our guests were constantly on the dance floor, and we heard so many compliments about the music and how fun the night was. For the price, the value was unbeatable and we'd recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ in San Diego.

    Above and Beyond Every Step of the Way

    We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, prepared, and incredibly easy to work with. He scheduled several phone meetings with us before the wedding to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted and that every detail was covered. His communication was clear throughout the entire process, which gave us so much confidence leading up to the big day. On the wedding day, everything flowed seamlessly thanks to his preparation and attention to detail. He truly went above and beyond to make our day feel special, and we never had to worry about a thing. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, personable, and genuinely invested in making your event a success, we can't recommend him highly enough!

    Great DJ selection for wedding

    We had Holmes Entertainment San Diego as our DJ and they absolutely made our reception. From our first conversation, they were responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole planning process smooth. On the night of the wedding, they kept the energy going all evening and did a great job reading the room to play what our guests wanted to hear. The MC work was solid and they coordinated everything perfectly with our timeline. If you're looking for a DJ that will keep your dance floor packed and actually engage with your crowd, Holmes Entertainment is the way to go. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

    Professional, Organized and Great Party!

    We got really lucky booking Michael for our wedding. Our original DJ cancelled on us and after doing some research in a bit of a panic, we landed on Holmes Entertainment. Michael was on time for all of our planning calls and he was very organized along the way. On the day of the wedding, he handled all of the announcements and he made sure our timeline was running as best as possible. My family loves to dance and we have a crazy mix in tastes between my husbands family and mine. Michael was able to handle all of it and he made it so much fun. We played Country, EDM, Hip hop and some Latin music and it all worked out really well. We will be saving his contact for future events.

    5 stars isn't enough

    Michael was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He made the whole process easy and stress-free, always quick to respond and full of helpful ideas. During the reception, he kept the energy up without ever being over the top. He read the crowd perfectly and played exactly what people wanted to hear. We had so much fun dancing with our friends and family. Everything felt smooth and natural, and we were able to just enjoy the night. Would book him again in a heartbeat.

I’ve DJed hundreds of weddings and built a wide range of music knowledge. Every couple and every wedding is different, so I like to set up a few calls to understand your taste and expectations, then build from there. I’ve worked across many genres and cultures, and I mix everything live with a musical approach. I’m not just playing songs, I’m blending and layering to keep things creative and fun. At the end of the day, my goal is simple, make sure you and your guests have a great time, and I’m confident I can make that happen.
As your DJ and MC, I help guide the flow of the day while keeping the energy right where it needs to be. I’m confident on the mic and comfortable hosting, making announcements, and leading key moments, including games if that’s something you want. I don’t try to take over or be the center of attention. My focus is on you, keeping things smooth, fun, and on track so every moment lands the way it should. I work closely with your planner or coordinator and stay flexible. I don’t need a script, but I’m happy to follow one if you have it.
The booking process is super simple. I require a 50 percent deposit on the day of the contract signing and the remainder can be paid anytime between now and 7 days before your event date. Once I receive the deposit and the signed contract, we are official!
Uplights are small lights placed around the room, usually along walls or behind key areas like your sweetheart table or dance floor. They shine upward and add color and depth to the space, helping transform the look and feel of your venue. They can match your wedding colors, create a warm and romantic atmosphere, or shift the energy later in the night once dancing starts. It’s one of the easiest ways to make a room feel more full, polished, and intentional. I highly recommend uplighting if you want your space to feel more elevated and visually complete.
