I’m a San Diego-based DJ/MC with 15+ years of experience, and I still love what I do. I’ve worked hundreds of weddings and events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to events with 1,000+ guests. I’ve worked with couples from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures, and I’ve even DJed weddings internationally. I keep things personal, keep things flowing, and make sure everyone is having a great time. I read the room, mix live, set the vibe, and know when to turn things up. I’m confident on the mic, easy to work with, and focused on making sure your wedding feels like you.

15+ years behind the decks, hundreds of weddings and events across SoCal and internationally, plus club residencies in Vietnam. I’ve worked with all kinds of music, cultures, crowds and venues. I mix live, read the room, work the mic, host games and know how to build a dance floor. I’m hands-on from start to finish, organized, and invest in pro equipment. I’m not your average wedding DJ. I’m not here to do a good enough job and disappear. I want your guests talking about how much fun your wedding was. I want your friends asking who your DJ was.     Best DJ Ever!

    Michael was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was so professional and fun and made our vision come to life! It was so nice knowing he was in control of the music flow as everything went exactly according to plan. He really did a superb job guiding the whole evening and nailing all of our requests. It was incredible enjoying the day knowing he was taking care of all the music and microphones and having everything flow so smoothly. We can’t speak highly enough about having him as our DJ. Thank you so much Michael for not only being a part of our special day and making it fun but by also taking the stress off of us by allowing the flow of the evening to go so smoothly with your guidance and expertise.

    Best Dj

    We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and MC for our wedding. Michael made the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception go incredibly smooth. They listened to all our ideas, read the room-vibe perfectly, and had all our guests on the dance floor the entire night!

    We had Holmes Entertainment San Diego as our DJ and couldn't have been happier with how our reception turned out. From our first conversation, michael was easy to work with and genuinely listened to what we wanted for our big day. He accommodated every request we made and kept the energy going all night long. The song selection was spot on, and he really understood the vibe we were going for. Our guests were constantly on the dance floor, and we heard so many compliments about the music and how fun the night was.     Above and Beyond Every Step of the Way

    We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, prepared, and incredibly easy to work with. He scheduled several phone meetings with us before the wedding to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted and that every detail was covered. His communication was clear throughout the entire process, which gave us so much confidence leading up to the big day. On the wedding day, everything flowed seamlessly thanks to his preparation and attention to detail.     Great DJ selection for wedding

    We had Holmes Entertainment San Diego as our DJ and they absolutely made our reception. From our first conversation, they were responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole planning process smooth. On the night of the wedding, they kept the energy going all evening and did a great job reading the room to play what our guests wanted to hear. The MC work was solid and they coordinated everything perfectly with our timeline. If you're looking for a DJ that will keep your dance floor packed and actually engage with your crowd, Holmes Entertainment is the way to go. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

I’ve DJed hundreds of weddings and built a wide range of music knowledge. Every couple and every wedding is different, so I like to set up a few calls to understand your taste and expectations, then build from there. I’ve worked across many genres and cultures, and I mix everything live with a musical approach. I’m not just playing songs, I’m blending and layering to keep things creative and fun. At the end of the day, my goal is simple, make sure you and your guests have a great time, and I’m confident I can make that happen.
As your DJ and MC, I help guide the flow of the day while keeping the energy right where it needs to be. I’m confident on the mic and comfortable hosting, making announcements, and leading key moments, including games if that’s something you want. I don’t try to take over or be the center of attention. My focus is on you, keeping things smooth, fun, and on track so every moment lands the way it should. I work closely with your planner or coordinator and stay flexible. I don’t need a script, but I’m happy to follow one if you have it.
The booking process is super simple. I require a 50 percent deposit on the day of the contract signing and the remainder can be paid anytime between now and 7 days before your event date. Once I receive the deposit and the signed contract, we are official!
Uplights are small lights placed around the room, usually along walls or behind key areas like your sweetheart table or dance floor. They shine upward and add color and depth to the space, helping transform the look and feel of your venue. They can match your wedding colors, create a warm and romantic atmosphere, or shift the energy later in the night once dancing starts. It’s one of the easiest ways to make a room feel more full, polished, and intentional. I highly recommend uplighting if you want your space to feel more elevated and visually complete.
