Weddings for me are the most rewarding events we play. I take very seriously the fact that the couple has entrusted us to be a part of the biggest day of their lives and there is nothing better than hearing the entertainment was the highlight of the reception. From allowing the couple to choose exactly what they want to hear from our song list to allowing them or their party goers to be a part of the show, my goal is to work with them to make sure the band exceeds their expectations. This approach has allowed the 80'z All-Stars and MSE to flourish for 20+ years.

All our shows are performance oriented and strive to cater to every party goer. Whether you choose to dance or sit back and watch what is happening on stage, the band draws you into the celebration. We also are open to morphing into whatever theme or type of show the couple envisions, be as creative as you like. We pride ourselves on being far from the typical wedding reception act.

    Best Band!

    This is an incredible band to work with and I highly recommend them. This is a talented group of musicians that can fill a dance floor. The energy level is fantastic and they know how to get the crowd moving. They know how to read a crowd and to keep the party going.

    As a live event production company, I have had the opportunity to work with thousands of artist over the years. I have had the pleasure to work with The 80'z All-Stars/Mama Said Entertainment for over 10 years at multiple venues and occasions. Their professionalism, ease to work with and overall performance energy is not surpassed.

Whatever you like! We are an act that transforms/morphs into whatever is desired by the couple for the evening, that includes the costuming. You'd be surprised what we've hit the stage wearing for different receptions!
We are very open to learning requested songs but I'm also very upfront as to whether we can do the music justice. If it's an extra special/meaningful request I'll make sure it's represented the best way possible, even if that means recommending a recording versus a live rendition.
We are not only top notch professional musicians but entertainers. We will never be content just playing the music, I would recommend a DJ if that is the experience you desire. What we do is provide a complete, high energy performance that sets us apart from any other show in the region.
Absolutely! In fact one of our favorite things to do is supply our entire playlist to the you in advance and encourage you to let us know exactly what you do or don't want to hear. It's your night!!!
Ceremony and cocktail music is available but is an added expense.
With enough notice this is possible but may need to be sub contracted and billed accordingly.

Our speciality is 80's but our extended repertoire spans the decades from the 60's to today and covers all genres. Given wedding receptions are often the most eclectic of gatherings, we pride ourselves on being able to please every demographic represented.
Ideally we ask for a minimum of two hours but can roll with the schedule in place if that is not possible.
We are able to include stage lighting for the band within the quoted price, anything beyond is available via sub contracting. We have trusted local vendors at hand and are happy to supply if requested.
If within the San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles or Riverside counties region the travel and break down fee is included. Outside of these counties the fees will be calculated and quoted per event.
Sales tax is not applicable with our service.
