“Natalie shot my engagement photos and they were everything I could have hoped for and more. The proposal was a total surprise, and I still can't believe how well they came out and how seamlessly she captured even the initial moments given how unprepared I was! Not only were the photos amazing (and sent to us on a super quick turnaround, even though it was over the holidays) but she also gave so much helpful guidance and was such a calming presence throughout the shoot. I am not always naturally good at posing and was very nervous, but she gave very clear direction and really put me at ease so that the best moments she captured were really natural ones. Our photoshoot was at the National Portrait Gallery, so she also worked closely with my fiancée to find lots of different art and settings throughout the museum —looking back at the photos now I can really see how her artistry and vision came to life! “We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!”
