    Annemarie's work is beautiful!!!

    I absolutely loved working with Annemarie for our wedding photography! From the very first call she was communicative, organized, kind, and excited. I felt automatically comfortable around her which was key for me as I am typically quite awkward in front of a camera. It was extremely easy to work with her and she went above and beyond by going to our venue before our wedding to scope out the best picture spots. I was particularly concerned about the "first look" location because I wanted it to be secluded and Annemarie found the perfect spot for us. During the day itself, Annemarie did such a great job directing me and my husband so that we felt comfortable during our shoot. She also did an incredible job running through all of our group shots. She brought a calm and competent manner that was very much appreciated during the high emotions of your wedding day. Annemarie and her team took such incredible photos of our special day. Words cannot express how happy I was when I received our pictures. Annemarie did a wonderful job capturing the energy of the day and highlighting the natural beauty of our venue. Your wedding day rushes by you so quickly and I am so thankful to have Annemarie's beautiful work to remember the day by. Do yourself a favor and hire Annemarie for your wedding!!

    Great experience!

    Annemarie was absolutely amazing to work with! From start to finish, she was organized and detailed, making the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. She captured beautiful photographs we’ll cherish forever, and her attention to detail shone through in every shot. She was also quick to share our photos, which we really appreciated, and her pricing was very reasonable for the quality and experience she provides. I would highly recommend Annemarie for any photography needs, but especially for engagement and wedding photography. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

    Authentic, Thoughtful, and Absolutely Amazing

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with Annemarie Deale for both our engagement session and our wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, she was wonderful at capturing the true essence of who we are as a couple. What sets her apart is her incredible ability to make photos feel authentic. So often, you see beautiful pictures of couples that don’t match how they are in real life but with Annemarie, it genuinely felt like the photos captured us. She shared examples from past shoots, showing how she tailors her approach giving a lot of direction when needed, or letting moments flow naturally when the couple is more comfortable. That attention to detail and understanding of different dynamics immediately gave us confidence that she “gets it.” The final photos were beyond what we could have hoped for. Emotional, genuine, and beautifully reflective of our relationship. We can’t recommend her highly enough for anyone looking for a photographer who truly captures the heart of a couple’s story.

    Incredible Experience, Best Decision Made

    In my experience, Annemarie Deale Photography, was a total highlight of my wedding day and planning leading up to it. When I received the previews, I cried tears of happiness looking at how beautiful the pictures were and how she captured the feeling of the day. I found working with Annemarie to be seamless, light, and refreshing. She brought an editorial eye that I could never had imagined, was highly communicative through the entire process, and merged into the wedding day energy. I didn't even realize she had taken photos during the ceremony (of course she did!) because I genuinely didn't see her do it which allowed me to totally focus on the event and guests. Despite me and my husband not being the most comfortable in front of the camera, Annemarie, kindly provided suggestions for what would look good, and, in my opinion, she exceled at capturing how happy we were. I'm trying to find more excuses to work with Annemarie- that's how incredible I think her work is! I'm so grateful to have worked with such a thoughtful, skilled, and kind professional on my big day.

    the BEST photographer

    Hiring Annemarie was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. I was incredibly picky when choosing a photographer and talked to over twenty photographers before deciding on Annemarie. Her calmness, attention to detail, photography style, and clarity in communication made her the perfect photographer for any couple. When I look back on our wedding photos, I feel as if I am reliving the day over and over again because she did such an amazing job capturing the raw, unfiltered, real moments of the day. My husband does not love poised photographs and not only did Annemarie get him to do it, she was also able to beautifully capture the little moments in between. Annemarie was respectful, kind to our guests, and ensured every photograph I wanted was captured (and even was able to photoshop a photo or two that I forgot in the craziness!). She went above and beyond for our day, staying longer than originally intended and hiring an extra second. I loved working with her and truly could not recommend Annemarie more highly and will be using her services for all future events!

All weddings with more than 80 guests include a second photographer. I value second photographers as an important part of the storytelling of the day and hire only very experienced photographers whom I have also trained in my preferences. I usually don't include a second photographer in more intimate weddings because it can feel intrusive to have two cameras in a small group, but it depends on the logistics of the day.
It depends on a number of factors, but you can generally expect an average of 50-100 images per hour of photographing. This estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I will do everything possible to find an equal replacement with a similar style at no additional cost to you, or provide a 100% refund of your payments (excluding the engagement session, if completed) and cancel the contract, allowing you to hire a new photographer of your choice.
A few goal shots are fine, but a long list can easily end up dominating and interrupting the day. It's important to remember that even in the same location, weather and dozens of other variables can affect our ability to recreate exact shots. Most importantly, your day is unique - it won't be like anyone else's! I encourage you to hire a photographer you trust and allow them to capture your day as it unfolds naturally as much as possible.
During the planning process, we'll review your priorities. Generally, I'm directive on lighting and location, but I prefer as much of the day to unfold naturally as possible. So I'll step in when it's helpful to produce a better result, but I rarely stage events. I'm not intrusive during the ceremony and let the venue space guide my coverage. For some spaces, this allows me to capture multiple angles and distances; for others, it may be very limited. However, my priority during your ceremony is to not interfere with the guest experience. But later on, you'll find me in the middle of the dance floor getting up close with the action.
All of my digital cameras are “dual slot” which means each time I press the shutter, that image is saved to two memory cards. So, if one corrupts, there is an identical copy. When I get home, I download every image to two separate hard drives, and again, if one corrupts, there is an identical copy. My computer backs up to a third-party cloud storage service and a third hard drive, and I do not delete the memory cards until your final gallery is delivered. Memory cards are stored in a fireproof safe until your gallery is delivered.
