MICKNICS has spent the last five years turning "I don't know where to start" into wedding days that feel like the couple planning them and not a template. What began as luxury picnics and proposal styling grew, client by client, into full wedding planning, design, and day-of coordination for couples across MD, DC, VA, DE, and PA. 100+ celebrations in, we still start every relationship the same way, by listening first.

We present every option instead of making the call for you, so you always know what you're choosing and why. We offer Coordination, Partial Planning, and Full Planning. You can bring us in at whatever point makes sense, not just one rigid package. Every couple gets the same thoughtful, personalized experience, with no exceptions and no assumptions about how your day is "supposed" to look.

    Beautiful arrangements and excellent service

    Working with MICKNICS was such a relief from start to finish. The team got back to us quickly whenever we had questions, and they always explained things in a way that was easy to understand. They really listened to what my daughter wanted for her day and made her vision come to life without breaking the bank. From the flower arrangements at our rehearsal dinner to the blooms at the ceremony, every detail showed how much they cared about getting things right. We felt like they were invested in making our wedding special, not just checking boxes. We'd recommend MICKNICS to anyone looking for planners who are detail-oriented, affordable, and genuinely fun to work with. MICKNICS was able to save us some money by repurposing the centerpieces from the rehearsal dinner as the centerpieces for the wedding reception for my daughter's wedding. I can't say enough about Micaela's attention to detail! I highly recommend MICKNICS.

Yes - MICKNICS is led by Micaela, owner and lead planner/stylist, supported by a small full-time and part-time team plus an in-house contractor florist. Micaela is the lead on every wedding, with a dedicated assistant supporting throughout planning and on your wedding day.
Yes - engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelorette celebrations, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and farewell brunches are all part of our Wedding Weekend Events offering. Planning and Coordination clients automatically receive 10% off these celebrations when booked through MICKNICS.
This depends on your service. Full and Partial Planning clients get bi-weekly planning sessions, milestone check-ins at key points before the wedding, and unlimited email/text communication throughout. Coordination clients have a lighter touch until the final weeks - Month-of Coordination begins six weeks out, Half-Day and Full-Day begin about three weeks out - with consultations and unlimited communication during that period.
It depends on the service. For Wedding Planning clients, we take on one wedding per weekend so you have our full attention as your big day approaches. For Day-of Coordination and Event Styling, we're able to support multiple celebrations in a weekend - each with a dedicated lead planner or coordinator plus an assistant, so your day still gets focused, hands-on attention from your own team regardless of what else we're supporting that weekend.
