I’m Josephine, or Jo for short. I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was about 7 years old. When it came time to choose a college major my dad gave me some great advice: “choose something you love.” So, I chose to study photography and have been living my passion ever since! Capturing authentic, timeless images is my goal. I want you to feel comfortable to be yourself during photoshoots and have your photos reflect your unique personality.

I aim to provide imagery that is genuine and highlights the best in its subjects. I'm a details person. I'm here to focus on the details so you can relax and enjoy your day. I pride myself on getting to know you, your family and your friends so I can authentically capture the all special bonds that bring together your favorite people to celebrate you. I do shoot in a documentary style and that's not for everyone, but if it is for you, then lets chat!

    Cool, calm, and collected!

    Working with Jo last August was absolutely great! As a coordinator, having someone on the vendor team who is flexible and calm is super important. She handled the rowdy guests with a calm and patient demeanor, was a team-player as things changed, and open to suggestions and questions from me. And the photos are fantastic, of course!

Typically, couples book me about 8 months-1 year before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame!
Sometimes. This can depend on your wedding size, or your preferences.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I do not provide RAW images since part of what you're paying for is my artistic abilities.
Couples will receive a small set of preview images within 24 hours of your wedding. The full curated gallery will be provided within 30 days of your wedding date.
This varies. It depends on many factors like how many guests/bridal party members, how many hours I spend with you, how large your venue is, ect. My online galleries are broken up into sections to make the large volume of photos easier to digest and enjoy!
