“Team Topedo, We wanted to send a HUGE thank you to the entire team. You all helped make our wedding an absolute blast! The dancing on a cloud made for some fantastic videos and pictures, the uplighting really added some nice ambiance for dinner and set the tone for the reception, and the glow sticks just really brought the party to life! The video turned out amazing! Last weekend, we watched the full ceremony edit, theatrical trailer, and gameday entrance. The attention to detail during the filming and with the audio, video, and transition in the final project was astounding. Your seamless integration with our photographer, the other vendors, and the guests made everything feel natural. The videos are some of our most cherished keepsakes. The groomsmen really appreciated the Gameday clip, which turned out perfectly! Wow! We asked you to get the party started after dinner and keep the dance floor packed...and you delivered! “If you're on the fence about your wedding DJ, stop looking and book Jacob from District Remix. From the first time we met Jacob, we knew we were on the same wavelength. He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors. “Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

“DJ Ed was so accommodating in bringing our medieval fantasy cocktail hour to life. It perfectly set the mood I was looking for, and I was so happy that he was able to play our nontraditional music selections; thankfully he was able to use a Spotify playlist I had made just for cocktail hour. I received so many compliments on the music from my guests, and he kept them dancing for hours! But the one thing Ed did that I was most impressed with and touched by, was him picking the perfect next song when my husband was dancing with his daughter. Our photographer was able to get some beautiful photos of the moment, and we will be treasuring them for years. Without Ed's instincts and quick thinking, we wouldn't have those photos. “My partner and I came into our wedding planning with a lofty idea - 150 person backyard wedding in the summer heat. Brandon took on the challenge not only with enthusiasm, but also an incredible amount of flexibility, clear direction, and belief. His communication style is stellar - he is readily available and we appreciated his application to make picking songs and organizing them seamless. He is certainly not an "in-your-face" DJ - he makes sure you are the star of your day, and will fill in the gaps where necessary to make your dream come true. I personally had a fairly outlandish request for my mother-son dance, and he just rolled with it - as if it was the simplest and most approachable request ever. He also played a huge part in ensuring all of our ceremony, speeches, etc. were loud and clear. Mics were easy to use, and felt very professional. “There is a reason DJ Paul keeps receiving Couple’s Choice and Best of Weddings awards year after year, he is simply outstanding! He truly understands the vibe of your wedding and knows exactly how to keep your guests on the dance floor all night long. From reading the crowd to perfectly timing every transition, he created an atmosphere that was fun, seamless, and unforgettable. Our guests absolutely loved him and kept raving about what a phenomenal DJ he was throughout the night! My husband and I chose the Gold Package, which covered absolutely everything needed for a wedding and more! It even included uplighting and a party pack with glow batons and necklaces (which our guests LOVED and definitely added to the energy on the dance floor). Throughout the entire planning process, Paul’s communication was impeccable. He was extremely responsive, organized, and always one step ahead. As a type-A bride, I truly appreciated how reassuring he was, especially when reminding me not to worry if guests didn’t start dancing immediately (he was right…they just needed a little time and some liquid courage!). Paul walked us through the entire day step by step and offered so many helpful suggestions on what works best. He always had a backup plan ready, which ended up being a lifesaver. Our wedding weekend had a HUGE rainstorm, and we had to move our ceremony indoors. I had originally planned a sparkler exit, but with the rain, I wasn’t sure what to do or if we should skip it altogether. When I mentioned just dancing until the end, Paul immediately stepped in with the perfect solution: using the light-up batons for our exit. I hadn’t even thought of that, but it turned out to be exactly what we needed! His quick thinking and confidence completely put my mind at ease. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting.
