An Incredible Artist and an Even Better Human
Hiring Trina was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She has been with us from our engagement session in Washington, DC, all the way through our wedding weekend in Detroit, MI, documenting three separate events with so much care, creativity, and intention. Somewhere along the way, she stopped feeling like just another vendor and became a true friend (or as we like to say, a "friendor"). Beyond taking incredible photos, Trina has been an invaluable resource throughout the planning process. She connected us with our videographer, and when we were trying to figure out how to bring our vision for guest portraits to life, she shared thoughtful recommendations and ultimately brought on an incredibly talented second photographer who was a perfect fit for our celebration. She consistently went above and beyond in ways that had nothing to do with what was in her contract. As a professional, Trina is everything you could hope for. She's punctual, responsive, organized, and incredibly reliable. We always knew we were in good hands. And then there's her artistry. Trina doesn't just take beautiful photos--she truly understands photography. She appreciates the technical side of the craft while also having an incredible eye for color, composition, styling, and storytelling. One of my favorite examples of her creativity was when she brought along a roll of 3D film to one of our sessions simply because she thought it would complement the vibe we were going for. The resulting photos were unlike anything we'd ever seen and ended up making some of our favorite social media posts. Looking through our galleries, we're constantly reminded not just of how our wedding looked, but how it felt. Trina captured the joy, the emotion, the little in-between moments, and all the people we love so perfectly. If you're looking for someone who is exceptionally talented, endlessly creative, deeply organized, and genuinely invested in her couples, hire Trina. We couldn't imagine our wedding story being told by anyone else.
