Greetings! I'm so excited that you are interested in live music for your upcoming celebration. I love that so many clients entrust me with planning and performing music for such special moments. Being a part of these celebrations of love never gets old and I love being able to use my talent, professional experience and creative spirit to assist each client in building a custom Music Timeline that speaks to their vision. I hold a (personal information protected by Zola) in Harp Performance and a M.A. in Dramatic Production plus I have over 10 years of Business Management Experience within the corporate business world.

Hey there! I LOVE connecting with my couples through music. Every one of the packages I offer include a Music Planning Session where you (and anyone you care to invite) is invited into my studio. Using a virtual platform, you get to meet me and my harp and we talk through your day of logistics and we talk music because, hey, that's what I'm all about ;-). Whether you are a music connoisseur or you feel like you're drowning and don't have a clue where to start, my job is to guide you through process while keeping it fun and entertaining. I want to capture your vision without making things complicated. Flexibility is key.

Our default attire is concert black semi-formal/formal attire. When engaging solo instrumentalists and some duos we love the opportunity to mix things up and add some color, so just let us know if you are okay with us thinking outside of the box and straying from the standard blacks. Often we are able to incorporate your color palette in our costuming.
YES! We love learning new songs. The more we learn, the more we have to offer, hence our extensive repertoire list. If we don't already know your favorites, each package includes learning up to 2 new songs at no extra charge providing printed piano or vocal music is available. For songs that are not in print, we may be able to arrange to learn it as an add-on investment.
Versatility and Adaptability paired with professionalism. We are artists first and foremost but our clients are what it is all about. We love that we can adapt to the unique vision of each client. We also understand the value that we bring and advise our clients based on our own experience and education. We are honest when it comes to requests, but are not unwilling to try new things.
Yes! Music Planning Sessions come standard with each package. Much like working with a DJ, you select from pre-defined music profiles to create the playlist for your event. For Wedding Ceremonies, we use these profiles for your prelude/postlude and have you choose your specific Ceremony Highlights. Most of our repertoire is stored digitally on ipads we perform off of, so requests can be made.
BOTH! In fact, our Premium Pacakge with 2 hours of coverage is a popular option for clients looking to provide our live music for both the Ceremony & Cocktail hour as it is the perfect segue into the live Band or DJ.
We do our best to adapt to each request posed to us. In most situations we are able to satisfy requests. However, due to the unique nature of such requests, we evaluate on a case-by-case basis. The best way to find an answer to your specific request for your situation, would be to contact us directly.
Harp & Soul carries Liability Insurance. Upon request we can provide a COI and if your venue requires it, we are able to add them onto the COI for your event providing the request is submitted at least 6 weeks prior to your event.
My personal style is "A Little Bit Of This and That". I love all styles of music, but can easily get bored of playing the same style of music for a long period of time, so I love to mix-it-up. I am a sucker for soaring melodies with deep emotional pull and love a good moving soundtrack. But it's not about me, it's about what you like and we have a variety of stylistic options for you to choose
Generally it takes 10-15 minutes for us to load in and setup. To ensure that our musicians do not run behind schedule, we schedule musicians to arrive anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Early Arrival & Load-In does not take away from your scheduled coverage.
Not at this time. We want to be able to focus on the music without any other distractions.
For events taking place within 30 miles of Metro Atlanta, Philadelphia, PA or Pottstown, PA there is not an added travel/cartage fee unless the venue is particularly challenging to access. For venues outside of that 30 mile perimeter, Travel & Cartage rates start at $50 per musician per hour of travel roundtrip.
We do not charge sales tax at this time.
