We hired Mostest for Day of Coordination and Something Borrowed Blooms Management. We chose our coordinator a month before our wedding and started working with her about 3 weeks ahead of the big day. We had an 87-person restaurant wedding at American Brass in LIC. Our DoC, Tea Shepherd, was incredible and picked up seamlessly all the things we planned for the wedding. I had put together most of the plans ahead of time, but she came in with suggestions and perfected all the details. I trusted her completely to run the day and also do all the decor setup. She made the venue looks so beautiful without much input from us as we trusted her vision. She coordinated with all the vendors before the wedding and during and they all had very positive things to say about her. She was so thoughtful with the preparations for the wedding and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink and anything else while also making sure ran smoothly. Our coordinator for SBB, Fiona, received and dropped off all of the packages and communicated quickly and we’re very happy how all of that was handled.

When the pandemic first started last year, while a lot of vendors and businesses closed down, Lynda remained with my husband and I all through the way. She is not only excellent at what she does but she goes above and beyond to make sure that you are happy . Apart from wedding planning Lynda also specializes in event decor and is a great florist. Her work basically speaks for it self . She brings your dreams to life with all her wonderful decorations. I showed Lynda a sample of how I want my bouquet and she right just make it happen but it was 10 times more beautiful then what I originally wanted. She is very big on the little and big details. When I walked in my venue I was blown away by how beautiful and breathe taken it was. TM Grey Events was amazing at my wedding. Liya was extremely organized and on top of everything. She has great energy and helped me stay focused on the day rather than the planning. She handled all day of coordination including coordinating an ambulance when a medical emergency occurred with one of our caterers without any of the wedding guests knowing. Brooklyn truly made our wedding what it was — we could not have done any of it without her! From the very beginning, she was so easy to communicate with: down-to-earth, organized, and always one step ahead. She even helped connect us with other vendors during the planning process, which was such a huge help. But the real magic happened on the day of the wedding. Brooklyn was everywhere — handling the flowers, the centerpieces, setting up every little detail, and making sure everything ran smoothly. I genuinely don’t know how she did it all while still managing to keep drinks and food in our hands the entire night! She even helped bustle my very complicated wedding dress (I have picture proof!) — somehow figuring it out with total ease when everyone else was stumped. She was so intuitive, always knowing exactly what needed to happen next before we even realized it. Beyond just being amazing at her job, Brooklyn is also incredibly fun and easy to talk to. We took on a lot of planning ourselves, and hired Rina to be our day of coordinator--or really month of coordinator--and out of all of our planning decisions, hiring Rina was one of the best decisions we made. Ahead of our first call, we sent a long document outlining the ideas we had--which she looked through and gave us useful feedback on as we considered what support we needed most. We had some unique ideas for how to do things our own way--and it was also clear from our conversation, that while Rina knows how to do a "textbook" wedding--she also knows how to listen to clients to help them make their unique vision a reality, even if that requires some creative thinking, crafting, or problem solving. When we did our venue walkthrough a month before the event, we sent Rina another long document, floorplan, and schedule the day before--and she once again arrived familiar with all of it. She had crucial suggestions, important questions we hadn't thought of, and proved again she was the right person to help us get prepared for the big day. That pattern repeated once more at rehearsal which was very efficient! The day of our wedding, Rina was punctual, professional, and in expert control running the show we had put together. She had already connected with all of our vendors, reviewed all the decorations we designed and how they set up, and was fully familiar with the timeline. When the inevitable surprises popped up, she was quick to roll with the punches--in a way that kept our plans on track! The entire event was not just beautiful, unique, and exactly the vibe we had envisioned--but it was also EXACTLY ON SCHEDULE, from set up to the paper lantern send off at the end! We are thoroughly impressed, and can't recommend Rina highly enough! She was our not so secret weapon. Let her be yours too! And make no mistake, while we had Rina as our month-of-coordinator--we would have absolutely hired Rina to take on the entire thing if we hadn't enjoyed planning so much (and even then, we couldn't have finished the plans without her input!). I will also say, having planned so much ourselves, it really made it very personal to us that the schedule we made, the decorations we crafted, and the timeline we envisioned were faithfully executed. It was so personal, that I thought it would be hard to hand off our cherished plan to someone else. Who could know it as well as us or care as much? But every conversation with Rina made letting go easy, because it was so clear she was listening to us, and understanding us. There is no one else we would've trusted with our plan except Rina.

I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. We also had Kevin on her team set-up the decor at the venue and they did an amazing job -- we were blown away when we arrived! We got tons of compliments from our guests at how lovely the entire wedding was and I know we could not have pulled it off without Charissa / Simply Loved Weddings!!
