    I am writing this review with great disappointment based on my overall experience with Alana & Tom, the husband/wife owners of Bella Donna Weddings & Events. Unfortunately, what initially seemed promising turned into a complete letdown, and I feel compelled to share my concerns with potential clients. When I first hired them, Alana communicated effectively and portrayed a level of professionalism that gave us confidence in their services. However, our satisfaction took a drastic turn for the worse in the months leading up to our wedding. After signing a contract and making full payment as agreed upon, Alana inexplicably disappeared from our communications. Attempts to reach out via phone calls, emails, and messages went unanswered, leaving us in the dark about important details and arrangements for our wedding day. This lack of responsiveness not only caused immense stress but also raised serious doubts about the reliability of their services. In an attempt to address the issue, I finally heard from Alana, who claimed to have been in the hospital for three months. While I empathize with health challenges, the lack of communication during this period was not only unprofessional but also contradicted the earlier promises of effective team collaboration. The owner's explanation that her team was supposed to reach out to me with information fell flat, as no one made any effort to keep us informed or provide the necessary details. This lack of coordination and the attempt to shift blame only added to the frustration and disappointment we experienced. In light of this unfortunate situation, I strongly caution anyone considering Bella Donna for their wedding services. It is disheartening to see a vendor with initially good communication skills devolve into an unresponsive and seemingly unreliable service provider, especially when entrusted with such a significant event. I hope this review serves as a warning to others, and I sincerely hope that Alana & Tom take these concerns seriously, reflecting on the impact their actions have on couples planning one of the most important days of their lives.

    I normally ONLY write positive reviews, but I feel the need to warn current and future brides. I opted for Bella Donna due to the cost being much more competitive than any other partial planning/day of coordinator options. After opting for the partial planning option, I made the payments, well in advance and was requested to make payments before their due date. During this time I was told that I would be receiving a shared Google Drive, vendor recs & quotes, full budget management, a vision board, and SO much more. While I did receive the Google Drive & a couple of vendor quotes, I had to request them MULTIPLE times on multiple occasions. Alana would often miss our scheduled meetings or cancel last minute. Majority of the time, it would only be after multiple attempts to contact Alana that I would get a response explaining the reasoning. I am a very easy going person and understand that things happen and family comes first, but I would say about 75% of our scheduled calls were no showed. We also had a plan for her to come to my parents to review the space and assist with layout & she cancelled each time and never saw the location prior to the day of my wedding. After personally researching and reserving all, but two of my vendors, I asked Alana to take care of the florals and assist with finding a two person clean up crew to help manage backyard trash/garbage & she did and I paid. Fast forward to the wedding, Alana delivered on picking up the florals and dropping them to my hotel, however my mom and other family members had to assist Alana and her husband, Tom, in some last minute set up prior to my arrival (not part of the plan) and after paying a few hundred dollars to Alana for a clean up crew of her employees, we realized that no one ever showed up. There were basics throughout the night that should have been taken care of by Alana and were not. Although none of this ruined my day - it's disheartening to know that even after multiple attempts to receive a refund for the non existent clean up crew, I have still not been provided with not even a response, let alone a refund. Unprofessional and more of a hassle than helpful. Stay away.
