“If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”

“Miggy with Amplify was the perfect choice for our wedding day. On multiple occasions Miggy went above and beyond what was asked of him. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our day. We cannot thank or recommend Miggy enough! The ceremony was perfect, we did not notice him nor was he intrusive in any way. It was perfectly set up and everything went without a hitch. For our reception Miggy was perfect, he was the best MC we could have asked for. Our entrance was timed perfectly and our dances went great. He was attentive to everything happening and always accommodated us. The cold sparks added so much to our day! Once again, Miggy went above and beyond in ways we cannot thank him enough! You would not have known our wedding was dry because Miggy kept the hits coming and didn't stop the entire night. He kept the entire crowd engaged the whole night. Our guests loved him and our day would not have been the same without him or his hard work! We cannot recommend Miggy and Amplify enough!”

He was always available to help me and the communication throughout the whole process was excellent! DJ Mike was great! He had everyone dancing all night. Our MC Danny was amazing too. We had a chat right before the party started and he made all my worries disappear. They were so professional, talented and organized and I couldn’t be happier! “Andrew was awesome did more than his duty as an MC, helping with logistics and coordination, honestly my wife and I were talking and having his assertiveness when it came to decision making and working with my sister who was the officiant, caterer, photographer, event coordinator made things much more smooth. “The short version of this review: if you want the music at your wedding to be awesome and exactly what YOU love to hear, and without cheesey emcee vibes, hire Marcus! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

“Jeanyo Entertainment couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding! To start off the communication from the beginning of booking until the day of the wedding was responsive. Jeanyo was attentive our music taste and really wanted as much input from us as possible. We knew Jeanyo was going to take his duties seriously when he scheduled a zoom meeting between us and the wedding planner. He really used this time to pick our ear music wise, get our "Do Not Play List", and get our "Must Play List". The equipment the Jeanyo used was top notch. The audio was loud and clear for the outdoor ceremony. The timing of the songs that we selected to play for the bridal party, groom, and bride was seamless. We really appreciated the fact that he was able to incorporate specific audio files that we personally sent him. Where Jeanyo really shined was the reception!!! Since the music started and dinner was served, the dance floor was never empty the entire night. A lot of my guest came up to me saying "that was the most fun wedding I've ever been to!" We owe a big part these reactions to Jeanyo. Jeanyo not only perfectly incorporated our playlist into the reception, but his MC skills was on point. Hyping the crowd up, giving instructions on specific songs, announcements without interrupting the vibe were some of the MC skills he exhibited. Despite it being a reception he really gave it that high end club like feeling. The Mix of the music really united the diverse crowd, but really had people out of their seats when he tapped into the south Florida/Haitian Music. I still remember when Jeanyo got on the mic and said "Alright everybody we have 30 Minutes left". I genuinely couldn't believe how fast time was flying because we were having too much fun. We were recommended to Jeanyo by a friend of ours who had him for their wedding, and we are lucky to have gotten that recommendation. 5 out of 5 stars from the wife and I. We highly recommend Jeanyo for your wedding or any event the requires a DJ/MC.”

“Golden Bell Music was worth EVERY penny AND MORE! It's been 6 months since my wedding and I'm STILL getting comments on how much fun all our guests had! Even my mother-in-law who doesn't dance did NOT sit down! I'm Lebanese and my husband is Israeli, so I had asked for help mixing songs to combine our cultures and then move into more western music. I'm still getting sooooo many compliments from our families on how we were able to combine our traditions and our music! And our guests LOST IT when they came out on the dance floor with their instruments and danced with us! I did this in lieu of a zaffet group because i wanted something more unique -- in lebanon a drumline would follow the bride and groom and dance/perform for guests -- and it was definitely the right choice!!! On top of their amazing performance, Marlon was **insanely helpful** both leading up to the day and on the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and was making last minute decisions/timeline changes myself the day of. I couldn't have done it so smoothly without Marlon being so helpful as an MC and being so willing to roll with it! He was absolutely fantastic!! Cut your budget wherever you can to make sure you can hire them. It's SO worth it! Thank you Golden Bell Music for making it the best day of summer (so i've been told. multiple times. by different guests.)!! I don't know for what occasion, but I'm 100% going to find a reason to hire them again.”
