Gage and Gold is the Bay Area's chic, award-winning jazz and private party band. Our expanding group, beginning with duo Jackie Gage & Kevin Goldberg, refreshes jazz standards and classy covers with a modern twist. Our larger ensemble features fellow musicians steeped in the jazz tradition, coupled with learning alongside international artists like John Santos, Tony Toni Toné and Fantastic Negrito. Together, our group's camaraderie influences our timeless take on soul, jazz, pop, and today's top 40 hits.

I’m just a regular guy who loves to DJ weddings and parties. I get to help people celebrate milestones: weddings, birthdays, vow renewals, class reunions … and I also DJ “no special reason” events. I’d love to help you have a great event! I have more than 20 years of experience and have DJed and Emceed well over 450 parties. I recently upgraded my equipment and I have more than 20,000 songs in my music library. I show up early, and professionally dressed, and your requests are my top priority. I’ll include dance lighting at no additional charge.

Combined, our musicians have decades of musical experience. Our smaller jazzy trio and quartet are a perfect fit for intimate venues, setting an upscale mood; and our full band encourages listeners to tap their feet or head to the dance floor. Our vocalist has incredible range, tone and agility, and keeps the crowed engaged. We take our job seriously; we are easy to work with and can adjust to suit the needs of our clients.

A DJ’s responsibilities usually start well before the music and dancing. This might include sound support for your ceremony, presenting the wedding party, setting up a slide show, or coordinating the bouquet toss. We’ll do all this — then pack the dance floor with the songs you want to hear.

Offering soloist-rates with the skills of duo and providing music for weddings and private parties. 5 years experience as a professional lounge musician playing 4 times a week at upscale resorts including Four Seasons, Hyatt & Waldorf Astoria. I respond to all inquires within 24 hours. I have a P.A. system and can play 3 hours of great covers songs, 1 hour of originals or a mix of both. I can also put a 3-5 piece band together if you're looking for more upbeat music!
