I am a wedding & portrait photographer and event planner based out of The Berkshires, MA. As an avid traveller, and photographer for the better part of a decade, I am constantly in awe of the human existence, and how we connect. As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture your wedding moments as they unfold. For me, the beautiful part about weddings is the celebration of life, love, unscripted moments (and all that comes with it). In all of the happy tears, big laughs and tight hugs. It is my wish to not only see these beautiful memories in photographs, but truly see the people in them.

If you told me photography was going to be my career 10 years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it. But, looking back, all the signs were there and just had not been fully realized. I have always been attracted to imagery, and was obsessed with fashion magazines growing up… so naturally when trying to figure out what the heck to do with my life, I chose an education in fashion. I imagined I would love city life and working in the corporate world, never wanting to return to my Berkshire roots…. but boy was I wrong.

I serve families in The Berkshires and surrounding communities by providing beautiful, affordable portraits to pass down from generation to generation. As someone who understands today's financial climate, my unique goal is to make sure everyone has the opportunity to have stunning family images displayed in their homes. This includes families who have disabled or neurodivergent children and/or adults. This also includes all sexualities and gender identities.

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving and laughing. For the last 10 years, I worked at Girls Inc. as a Youth Advocate, which was an amazing job. Hi, I'm Addie. I started this business about 10 years ago, although photography has been a passion of mine since high school. What attracted me to photography is the idea of capturing the fleeting: be they big moments or small, capturing something priceless never gets old for me. When you look at a photo, you are transported back to instant it was taken. Even if your memory is foggy, a photo will sharpen it up. Photos are records and reminders, memories and wormholes in time. Helping to preserve those fleeting moments for my clients is so fulfilling and one of the things I love most about what I do.

I was born off the coast of Portugal, in the Azores Islands and raised in Cartaxo, close to Lisbon. Portugal was my home until the age of 19. My career started out in Graphic Design but at some point, photography found a place in my heart and soul, and I have been wandering the globe with my camera always in hand. ​​I am following my dream of doing something I believe in. My hobby turned into more than a hobby. I have been married for 29 years and have 2 wonderful boys. Samuel Andrew was born at 25 weeks weighing 1 pound 7 ounces and only given a 3% chance of life, he is now 19 years old, driving and getting his Associates degree in computers at HCC. Gabriel Seth was born with a "rare blood disorder" that only happens in 3% of the entire population of the world, he is now 16 years old and in High school. I am so blessed to be able to do what I do. Photography has become such an important part of my life.

I did not not grow up with a camera in my hand knowing I wanted to be a photographer. I started with photography by photographing Punk/Hardcore bands but eventually stopped photographing those shows because I didn't want my camera gear to get broken by someone stagediving. Being apart of that music scene help me cultivate friendships with people all over the world, and gave me lots of travel opportunities. Those experiences carried over into weddings helping me understand real documentary style moments and being comfortable surrounded by new people.
