Let me tell you my story. I had a day that wasn’t really about the connection I had with my husband. It wasn’t about who we were as people and about the things we loved. It wasn’t “us”. “Let’s start off with the fact that the whole week we were in Alaska felt like a blur, because it was truly more awe-inspiring than anything we could’ve imagined, making it SO hard to go back to reality after this fantasy adventure that Sam helped us cook up. There were helicopters, tons of different sights, glaciers, and MOOSE! One thing we loved about working with Sam was that it never really felt like we took posed photos; there were prompts and directions, but it really was genuine, she captured us just being weirdly us. Jeff complained about getting his photos taken in the months leading up to our elopement, but the experience was way better than expected (he grew up despising cameras) and all of our photos are so full of life, taking us back to that exact time and place. Also, Sam suggested thinking about our day as an adventure first and a wedding second, and it really helped us realize the potential and plan a day that was way more badass and memorable than any traditional wedding! We certainly don’t feel like we missed out on anything by eloping; in fact, we feel the experience was more meaningful and intentional because we got to experience all of these new adventures together that were uniquely us. “Where do I start with Lacie and Tim?!? Lacie was the first vendor I booked and for a good reason, it took one call and that was it - I knew she would be perfect for our wedding day. My husband and I have always been photo-shy and have often took awkward photos, and had a fear this would happen during our wedding day. There was never a moment that Lacie did not know what to do or what to suggest. We never had to think about it. What I believe contributes to Lacie's photo magic is she is an amazing person, incredibly easy to talk to and a joy to be around, and makes you feel confident and comfortable - we realized during photos it was like we were gabbing and being around one of our friends, and this distracted us from the fact and anxiety that we were actually taking a photo. Not only did this make taking photos fun, but it captured a lot of great candid moments and the photos felt natural and not overly staged. On wedding day, they were on top of it - timely, organized, and efficient. They were also incredibly supportive while we were both pretty anxious. They also give your sneak peaks freaky fast. We have already seen a few of them, and they look straight out of a magazine. “The photographer, Jonathan, and his assistant, were absolutely amazing. They arrived early, were flexible and really accommodating to our vision. They also really hustled! They took advantage of every spare moment they had to get additional photos, and kept us on schedule super tightly. They even carried around things like bottles of water for me (the bride) as we took lots of photos in the hot upper floor of the venue. Many guests also mentioned how beautifully the photos turned out. However, we did have an issue in which, due to an injury to the editor's hand, we did not receive our photos in the agreed-upon timeframe. Had we been informed of this delay ahead of time, we would not have had any issue just waiting a bit longer. The main concern was that we weren't alerted of this delay until after the initial deadline had passed. We did request a discount due to this, which they accommodated. And the photos did still turn out amazing!”

“From the first email inquiring about her services, I knew Calea was going to be wonderful to work with! She had a very quick response time and worked with me to figure out the best package for our special day. Leading up to the wedding, Calea was readily available to answer any questions I had and even helped me with a timeline for the day. On the day of our wedding, Calea drove to a neighboring county from our venue for us to be able to get some first look and family photos done before the ceremony. I was worried about what types of poses we'd do but this worry quickly went away as Calea makes you feel completely comfortable and fully guided us through all the photos, making it an enjoyable experience rather than a stressful or uncomfortable one. She captured every single detail beautifully. Venue, decor, detail shots, vendors, cake & dessert, various views during the ceremony, guests, dancing, special moments, etc. She stayed beyond the agreed upon contract time just for us to be able to get the perfect sunset shots in the vineyard. “Definitely one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. We had Ann Marie do our engagement photos and we loved her from the start and loved how they came out. We were devastated when we found out she was already booked for our wedding date, but she got us set up with one of her associates Elena at a discounted rate. Even though she wasn't going to be there on our big day she still put in so much effort to help us decide the timeline and the shot list. She kept in contact with us the whole time and really made us feel confident about the big day. She will still be doing the editing in her style and we are absolutely thrilled with the sneak peek shots we've gotten so far! “My husband and I got married in September in Providence, RI. I knew I wanted a photographer that was bright and colorful because of the venue and vibe of the day. I was nervous I wasn’t going to be able to find someone and would need to settle because I planned our wedding in 4 months. The original photographer I reached out to was not available and gave me Maria’s information. I was excited that she had the availability on such short notice, but once we had our first call with her I knew we had made the right decision and the day was going to be a blast. Communication up to our wedding was precise and clear. When the day came, it felt like we had known Maria and Jackson our entire lives. It was like hanging out with some of our closest friends. They made sure we got all the shots that we wanted, but also still enjoyed every second of the day. We did do a first look so it helped with picture timing but what was considered our cocktail hour (the entire night was cocktail style) they followed us around and took candida and groups when necessary. It was perfect. Not once did we feel like we had taken too many pictures. We got married on a rooftop but they also made sure that we had shots in the city streets and a large variety of locations. When we got our sneak peaks I was truly speechless (and ugly crying). I was absolutely blown away by how PERFECTLY they had captured our day. You could feel the joy radiating from the photos and the colors and clarity was unbelievable. I am still speechless and in awe of how amazing our pictures came out. Our day was absolutely perfect but Maria and Jackson for sure made it memorable with the most breathtaking pictures. They truly tell a story and how fun the entire night was. I look at the photos constantly and I don’t foresee that stopping anytime soon. We get SO many compliments from people about how beautiful they are and everyone asks who the photographer was. “Hereafter Films was one of the first vendors we booked early on in the wedding planning process, and we are sooooooo glad we did! Ryan and Sharayah were amazing to work with, along with their entire team. They photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and honestly, both sets of photos came out better than we could have imagined! Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding. We really wanted our day to be captured in a way that felt authentic, emotional, and true to who we are, and Hereafter ABSOLUTELY nailed it! “We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!”

“Coral and her team were INCREDIBLE! We hired them for photography and videography for our wedding and we couldn’t have chosen a better team. Coral has an eye for capturing pure emotion. The photos make you feel like you are right back in the moment. I wore two distinctly different gowns (one was a traditional ivory ballgown, another a red, heavily embroidered Pakistani gown), and Coral captured both looks beautifully and effortlessly. My husband is comfortable in front of the camera, but the wedding was a very nerve wracking day for him- but everyone on The Double Shot Project team were so kind and made sure to match his vibe and uplift him any time they could. They also really took their time photographing him and his father with their project cars, which was a really special moment for them. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting just how sweet and fun her and her team were, and how they brought a bright and positive energy while always mindful of the people surrounding them (which is tricky to do when holding equipment).
