“I am a professional wedding coordinator turned queer bride and I was worried about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

“Summit Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! Having a fun dance floor and awesome music has been something that I have dreamed about forever. I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! “If you’re a music nerd with very particular opinions about music, hiring a DJ can feel like a terrifying leap of faith. Scott didn’t just meet my standards, he absolutely exceeded them. I had carefully planned our cocktail and dinner playlist, only to realize in real time that it was completely missing the mood. Scott gently checked in and asked if I wanted to adjust course, and I was SO relieved he did. He saved the mood, the vibe, the whole thing. From there, he expertly read our crowd, using just a handful of song requests guests had submitted with their RSVPs to curate an absolutely perfect night of bangers. Our dance floor was packed basically the entire evening. People weren’t just dancing, they were genuinely feeling the music and having an incredible time. Scott understood our crowd in a way that honestly felt like magic. He was also kind, attentive, and incredibly sensitive to the more personal parts of our wedding, including navigating the fact that our Father-Daughter dance had to be removed from the plans after my father passed away during our wedding planning. He handled those moments with genuine compassion and professionalism. It was clear from start to finish that Scott cared deeply about giving us an exceptional experience. He worked within our budget, brought an enormous amount of expertise to the table, and was worth every single penny. The picture I’m including is at the end of the night after most of the guests had gone home—the bridal party crew & my father-in-law stayed late because we were having such a great time bopping and Scott kept the night going despite the fact that 95% of the guests had gone home. It was one of the funnest parts of the night—we had a blast letting loose on the dance floor and enjoying every last beat right to the end. I would hire Scott again in a heartbeat for any future DJ or emcee role, and I would recommend him without hesitation. I do not put my name behind recommendations lightly, and I can say with complete confidence: hire Scott. He was one of the most integral reasons our wedding evening turned out as spectacularly as it did.”

On our actual wedding day, Lance went above and beyond, from showing up early to make sure everything was set up correctly, to recording our ceremony and first dance, and then staying until all the guests were out. From the detailed pre-wedding questionnaire and phone conversations to the day of our wedding, T.D. was very professional, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. We also used T.D. for our ceremony amplification. We are happy to report that we did not have any microphone malfunctions! Most importantly, the reception was truly a party from the time we were introduced until the time we made our escape. From the lighted monogram initials, choreographed dances, and a variety of music, he made sure we had everything we asked for. T.D. kept us to our timeline and kept the guests aware of the happenings around the venue. We are so thankful to have had him as our D.J., as many memories were made on the dance floor that night. 5 stars from us!”

“Now for the details: Brandon, Kellie, Elmer, and Becky were excellent to work with. They were communicative throughout the entire process and even sent monthly checklists to ensure the wedding planning timeline was ironed out and reminded you of the small details that most folks forget about. It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. Thank you so much, Brandon, Kellie, and team for setting the tone and giving us a memorable night!”

“We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

“I would give Dj Maskell a BILLION stars if I could! Not only was he the best wedding dj ever, he always played the biggest part in our wedding planning process. My husband and I are very adhd and we were dragging our feet to get all the little details figured out. Mark helped us get organized and even provided us with a super detailed spreadsheet with EVERYTHING involving our wedding to make sure nothing was missed. We booked him over 2 years before our wedding and every single time we reached out with questions, he responded immediately with answers. Anytime we needed to talk to him, he was able to schedule meetings with us right away. He met with us WEEKLY the month of our wedding to ensure everything was going exactly as planned and because of all of those things, we tell everyone Dj Maskell is the reason we were able to pull off our dream wedding. He was our “Master of Ceremonies” as well so he made sure everything went smoothly and everything stayed on schedule during our ceremony! Our ceremony was on the beach so we were worried our guests wouldn’t be able to hear us because of the wind, waves, etc. But Mark had discrete mics set up for us so everyone could hear us perfectly. He was able to use all the songs we wanted, even though some of them were only available on YouTube and SoundCloud. As for music, he absolutely KILLED IT! We are big into EDM, primarily dubstep, and he curated the perfect amount of our fave music, with music for the normies as well. My guests were hyping him up all weekend and even STILL text me saying how much they love him lol. I don’t write reviews often, but I wish I could shout from the rooftops how wonderful Mark is to work with, and how kind and helpful he really is. He not only played our wedding, but also our Welcome Party the night before AND Wedding After Party. He has the best energy and is HILARIOUS. He really brought all the vibes to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. PS: HIS LIGHT SHOW IS AMAZING!!! He has the coolest most discrete lights (you may be able to see in some of the pics I posted) and they are super slim and don’t get in the way. He let me control the lights at our after party lol!”
