Hi, I'm Frank, the owner, DJ, and Event Host behind Prime Time Event Group. With over 15 years of experience and 500+ weddings and events under my belt, my passion is creating unforgettable celebrations that reflect each couple's unique personality. From guiding the flow of the day to packing the dance floor all night long, I strive to make every event seamless, energetic, and stress-free. When I'm not behind the DJ booth, I'm spending time with my wife and kids, always finding new inspiration to bring even more excitement to the celebrations I have the privilege of being part of. After all, we're all about taking weddings from vows to vibes.

    Highly recommend!

    We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and entertainment group for our wedding! They did an absolutely amazing job keeping the energy high, the dance floor packed, and everyone having a great time. From start to finish, everything was seamless and professional, and they helped make our special day even more memorable. The communication with Frank was great; he worked with all of our special requests (including getting a dancing on the clouds machine for our first dance, which they do not typically offer, and getting a custom backdrop for the photo booth), and they truly knew how to keep the party going all night long. We received so many compliments from our guests! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding DJ and entertainment team for their wedding. Thank you for helping make our day so unforgettable!

    Frank was Easy to Work With - Wedding 08/2026

    Frank was easy to work with. He was different from the other DJs my wife and I researched, especially when it came to sharing and searching for music. Frank has his own website where we could upload our playlist and search through music suggestions, which was a huge help. My wife and I spent a lot of time researching music for the ceremony because it was very important to both of us. Frank’s website had plenty of suggestions and gave us a great starting point. From there, we were able to send him equivalent YouTube video clips so he knew exactly what we were looking for. On the day of the wedding, Frank and his team were on it. They played everything on our “must-play” list and kept the vibes going throughout the night. If we needed the volume raised or lowered, Frank and his team handled it right away. We highly recommend him! Thank you, Frank!!

    Wonderful!

    Frank was wonderful to work with and threw a great party! Communication was always prompt and we had two meetings leading up to the big day, where Frank asked us exactly what we were envisioning and wanted to hear at the wedding. His portal to add the "must play" songs was easy to use and he provided us all the mics needed for the ceremony and speeches in addition to playing great music all night! We also got some cool dance floor lighting from him (he explained all the options and gave his opinion on what he thought would be best) and the dance floor was packed all night long.

    Perfection!!!

    I am a professional wedding coordinator turned queer bride and I was worried about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!

    A Great Experience for Clients & Fellow Vendors

    As a wedding videographer, I work with a lot of DJs, and I can confidently say that Frank and his team are one of the best I have ever come across. Frank, Derek, and Jon are easy to get along with, fun to be around, and know exactly how to fill a dance floor. Their equipment is top-notch and they do a great job of making it look clean with covers in front, so guests aren't distracted by the appearance of the equipment. They're also great to collaborate with as a fellow vendor, always allowing us to plug in for audio when needed, and providing a clean signal so that the couple's video is as good as it can be. It is surprising just how often we get a signal from a DJ that cuts out, has music playing behind spoken words, or has some sort of echo on the audio! This has never happened with PT. Whether you are a client or a fellow vendor, your experience with PT Event Group will be as good as one can get!

We provide all the necessary equipment for wedding ceremonies, cocktails and receptions. If you need us, we got you covered!
We will arrive on average 1.5 hours prior to the wedding or event. Depending on what you book us to do, we may even be there earlier.
We provide additional lighting services and a photo booth. Along with the photo booth we provide an attendant to make sure your guests are attended to.
Our style is to provide the musical vision of our couples by learning a little bit about the couple and their musical tastes. What you want is what we do!
We take requests if our couples want us to take requests. That is totally up to you and what you want from us.
We can provide any style of music that our couples want. Just provide us with a few songs or artists and we can deliver!
We are are always researching new music, the top hits and listening to the radio. We want to be as knowledgeable about all new music the best we can. We don't want to just have the song to play, we want to know the best time to play it!
We are fully insured.
We service the Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lexington and Shenandoah Valley area. Anything past those areas, we will calculate our travel fee based on the mileage reimbursement rate.
