In addition to being a wedding photographer, I have become a professional boutonniere pinner, bonus bridesmaid, master timeline creator, manipulator of light, and emotional confidant. Primarily, I am there as your wedding photographer to ensure that--although your memory will fade with time--these photographs serve as vivid reminders of the joy in the season and the relationships that matter most. Photography by Jo began back in 2014 when I shot my first wedding for my roommates, while still in college. Hi, I’m Yelitza (Je-lit-sa ... don't worry! I got you). I’m a photographer, wife, nurse, fur-mom of three, new avid hiker, and a pretty darn good baker; and I’m here (dramatic pause) to tell your story. I found photography my freshman year of high school (I needed some credits in a pinch and this was it), three days in class and I was in love. Fast forward a few year (hey! hey! not too many years... She's a shih-tzu, and our little "fluffy butt" - I am obsessed with Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino's, going antiquing any chance I get, decorating our home, and after 20 years, I have FINALLY found a wine I like, after tasting everything! so I like to say I'm now a wine enthusiast haha! Mexican & Italian are my fav food! Love a good Netflix binge! & I live for 2 hour bubble baths!! Once I'm in, you can't get me out! :)
