We are Luis and Barbara, photographers based in Washington, DC. We had the privilege of studying photojournalism while dating years ago. As a couple, we share our passion for photography and love itself. Therefore, we know how to tell stories filled with real emotions from your special moment while capturing your natural essence. Planning a wedding is filled with important details, and photography is not an exception since our goal is to ensure all your planning is preserved forever. This is why we maintain a high standard of training to deliver consistent quality throughout our images.

We love weddings because we love having a great time with people, feeling the day's emotions to get on timeless images. Our focus is the experience with the customer; for us, this is more than a job; sometimes, planning a wedding brings some nerves, but we are here to free you of that with ease and a well-defined process.

    Cannot recommend enough

    I haven't even had my wedding yet and I am already so so pleased working with Barbara and Luis. We did a spring engagement shoot and wanted even more photos so opted for a second session in the fall, and I felt like the price for an additional hour was super fair and we got a ton of amazing photos (and with our 80lb dog which is not an easy ask)! They really made sure to get to know us and understand what kind of style we are looking for and I feel so confident with them being the photographers on our wedding day!

    They are MAGIC!

    Luis and Barbara are not only incredibly talented but were a joy to work with. Since we're both deaf, our biggest fear when it came to working with a photographer was how we will manage to communicate. But Luis and Barbara made us feel super comfortable and confident from the very beginning and we had so much fun during our sessions with them. They were consistently communicative, transparent, organized, and informative throughout the whole process. Whenever we saw Luis and Barbara all of the usual wedding stresses just melted away. We truly believe they are magic! And when we got our photos, we couldn't be happier. They were beautiful and we will treasure them forever. We sincerely couldn't have asked for a better photographer team.

    Great Team

    Luis and Barbara were amazing! They are personable and easy to work with. We needed them at the church wedding ceremony as well as the resort which was a couple of hours away. They had no problem transitioning between the two locations. The photos are great also! I would definitely hire them again.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
We are 2 senior photographers and we’ll bring one assistant. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 75 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never canceled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, one of us will be there with a second photographer.
This is a really good question, all the pictures you see are taken and edited by us, we don't subcontract or hire third-party vendors to perform the job for us.
