Rule of Thirds

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Rule of Thirds is a restaurant and event venue that operates out of Brooklyn, New York. Situated in a vibrant, urban setting not far from McCarren Park, there is a chic, design-orientated, and industrial ambience to enjoy here. An ideal place to host your wedding celebration, you are sure to be enthralled by the high quality of space, food, drink, and service within the venue.

Wow, I cannot sing more praise for Rule of Thirds events team/food team/service team. Where to start? The food was the best wedding food. I had so many guests tell me after how much they ate and how much they loved the food. So many of our friends said it was the best reception they had ever been to! The space itself is so well designed and beautiful, in our Brooklyn way. It's not traditional, but still timeless. We did minimal DIY decor, and the space looked phenomenal (it's so flexible in how it can look - simple or maximal, it's well designed so it's stunning no matter what). The service staff and events staff were AMAZING and the biggest reason our night went above and beyond. Everyone had great attitudes and big smiles! In the NYC service industry, it's sooooo rare (and def not expected). ROT was also flexible with specific requests that were unconventional (lion dance, light sabers, no ceremony, cocktail style food for sit down dinner, etc). Ultimately, I felt so spoiled by ROT and enjoyed the whole planning process with them (did not have a planner until 2 months out). Have your wedding here, you won't regret it. I wish I could do it all over again!!!!!

The Bell House

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $5,000

Nestled squarely between Park Slope and Carroll Gardens, The Bell House is a state of the art 8,000 square foot facility with separate performance space and lounge. Crafted out of a 1920’s printing factory and featuring an 88 foot long, 25 foot high magnificent wooden barrel vault ceiling, The Bell House has quickly become a major hub for arts and performance in Brownstone Brooklyn. The Bell House is located in what has long been a quiet stronghold for artists and musicians. The Gowanus neighborhood, with its early twentieth century red brick warehouses, has been a haven for artists seeking space for creative endeavors. The Bell House is thrilled to be a part of 7th Street, a block made up of numerous artist work spaces, galleries and businesses including Gowanus Studio Space and the Pace Paper Studio.

Naomi and her team at The Bell House were phenomenal! From the very beginning, when we first visited, she answered all our questions and was extremely supportive and kind. We were really excited to find an affordable venue in Brooklyn (check out their pricing on their website) that included a full bar! She also gave us great recommendations of vendors that were familiar with the layout. On the day of our wedding, everyone at The Bell House was incredibly kind and everything went very smoothly. We highly recommend this venue!

Sunday In Brooklyn

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Up to 125 guests

Sunday In Brooklyn, a warm and inviting neighborhood restaurant located in Williamsburg, can host a large variety of events. From seated private dining experiences with cocktails in our enclosed garden, to full buy-out weddings and rehearsal dinners, Sunday in Brooklyn can accommodate groups ranging from 8 to 200 guests.

Choosing Sunday In Brooklyn as our venue was the best decision we made about our wedding! Marissa, the events coordinator, was incredibly helpful in lead up & on the night of. Todd, one of the owners, helped us be totally unstressed & just focus on the excitement. A year later, our friends & family are still talking about how good the dinner was. (THE MUSHROOMS!) The whole team was incredibly accommodating — we had 107 guests + seated dinner + dancing & the team did an awesome job of flipping the spaces for us. Can’t recommend them enough.
