“If you're looking for a space to host a shower, a rehearsal dinner or an intimate dinner party wedding reception Manhattan, be sure to check out the mezzanine at Tarallucci e Vino in Union Square. We held our family meal/rehearsal dinner here, and it was a resounding success. Having a fully separate event space gave us complete privacy, and lounge area felt like a dinner party at someone's house instead of a restaurant.
Our wedding was in NYC, but we live in San Francisco / Dallas, so remote planning was challenging. From the beginning, Amanda and her team were outstanding: scheduling tours and tastings when we were in the city, quickly responding to questions, and ensuring that the smallest details were carefully addressed. Before booking Tarallucci, I toured at least a dozen other spaces. Amanda was by far the most professional and thorough event manager I met with, and I felt completely reassured that everything was handled. Re: budget, prices were equal to or better than similar restaurants that did not provide the privacy, central location, or quality of food/space/service. Amanda was also transparent with pricing and what was included/what we could add, which was a huge help with our budget and planning.
On the night of our event, the Tarallucci Team went above and beyond: The team adeptly navigated a crazy monsoon thunderstorm without batting an eye, and our families immediately felt at home and welcomed. Fresh flowers matched our wedding decor, printed menus were placed on each plate, and glasses were always filled with drinks of choice. The food was amazing (and plentiful!), and the atmosphere was exactly what we'd hoped for. It was a warm and homey place that allowed our families to relax and share stories over a delicious meal. We appreciated the much needed time together.
I wish I had photos to share, but we were all so caught up in our evening that we didn't take any photos that showcased the lovely space! Truly, it is a hidden gem in Union Square -- and we are so pleased to have discovered the mezzanine at Tarallucci e Vino.”
