About this venue

At Celebrate we want our couples to have a completely memorable day that is uniquely their own. Snug Harbor’s 86+ acres of manicures gardens and lush landscaping are the perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies and entertaining al fresco. The property features a large tented pavilion, grand ballroom and lower great hall for more intimate gatherings. The Tuscan garden is modeled after the Villa Gamberia in Florence, Italy. The Tuscan Garden features landscaped terraces, formal water elements and topiaries period plantings. The Chinese Scholar Garden is one only two authentic Chinese Scholar Gardens in the United States. The garden features magnificent rockery bamboo foot path, waterfalls & Koi-pond.

The Upper Great Hall

One of New York City’s most unique wedding venues.

The Great Hall boasts 40 foot ceilings ensconced by Palladian windows, authentic woodwork, two fireplaces and twelve cozy ewes that line the length of the massive hall giving it elegant old world charm ambiance. By adding inventive lighting, the room can be transformed to accommodate more modern tastes. Weddings celebrated in the Great Hall have the option of hosting their ceremony at the beautiful Tuscan Garden on Sung Harbor’s scenic grounds.

The renovated Tented Pavilion is based at the edge of the breathtaking Chinese Scholars Garden. It is a pristine outdoor space with indoor comforts including restrooms and a beautiful stone floor. Perfect for corporate functions, birthday parties, showers and more, the tented pavilion serves the same great catering as the Grand Ballroom in a unique outdoor setting.

    Celebrate at Snug Harbor

    We cannot say enough wonderful things about **Celebrate at Snug Harbor** and the incredible team who helped make our wedding day absolutely unforgettable! From the very first stages of planning through the very last moment of our wedding day, the attention to detail was truly extraordinary. We always felt that our wedding was in the hands of people who genuinely cared about making the day special for us. Every question was answered, every detail was thoughtfully considered, and every request was handled with professionalism and care. What could have been a stressful planning process was instead an experience where we felt completely supported and confident that everything would be taken care of. A very special thank-you goes to **Carmela and Roshani**, who were absolutely phenomenal. Their attention to detail, communication, warmth, and professionalism were above and beyond. They made us feel so well taken care of, and on the wedding day itself, they seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even knew we needed it. Their behind-the-scenes work allowed us to simply be present, enjoy our family and friends, and soak in every moment of our wedding. And we HAVE to talk about the food! Our guests are **still raving about cocktail hour**. It was spectacular. The variety, presentation, quality, and taste were incredible, and we heard over and over again from our guests how impressed they were. Cocktail hour was such a huge hit that people were talking about it throughout the night — and even after the wedding! The entire meal was fantastic, but cocktail hour was truly a standout. We were also so impressed by the way the Celebrate at Snug Harbor team worked with our other vendors. Their rapport and teamwork were obvious from the start. Everyone seemed to know exactly what needed to happen, communicated seamlessly, and worked together to keep the day moving effortlessly. That kind of collaboration makes an enormous difference on a wedding day, and it allowed all of our vendors to do what they do best. What really set Celebrate at Snug Harbor apart for us was that it never felt like we were simply another wedding on the calendar. The team took the time to understand what was important to us and treated our celebration as though it mattered to them, too. From the planning meetings to the final farewell, we felt genuinely cared for. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be — and so much of that is because of the people at Celebrate at Snug Harbor.     Hidden Gem!

    Snug Harbor is a hidden gem of a wedding venue in NYC! We had our ceremony in the Tuscan Gardens and reception in the Great Hall. Both spaces were magical and felt like a fairy tale. Planning our event there was easy and stress-free. We were provided with a wedding coordinator that was incredibly helpful and the staff was amazing day-of as well. I highly recommend this venue!

    Book this place!

    Celebrate at Snug Harbor was nothing short of incredible, and we couldn't be happier to have had our wedding there. The staff is kind and helpful and really rooting for you the entire wedding planning journey and even provide a book for you to work through the month leading up to the big day. The tall ceilings and large windows of the Upper Great Hall are elegant and created beautiful natural lighting during our ceremony. The Lower Gallery is equally spacious and worked well for our cocktail hour, a big plus as we had over 180 guests. So many of our guests raved about the food, and one reason we booked with Celebrate was their diverse and extensive menu. They also really went above and beyond with guests' dietary restrictions and made our custom cocktail come to life! We loved that booking Celebrate also meant catering, staffing, furniture, and linens would all be arranged through one vendor. They also include a wedding coordinator (shout out to Roshani who is amazing and proactive about working with other vendors), a bridal attendant, and an assistant. While we chose to have our wedding entirely indoors, we took our photos outdoors and were grateful for the access to the Chinese Scholar's Garden. They really delivered on providing a special day.

    Vegan Tuscan Garden Wedding

    The Celebrate team was incredibly professional and helpful from start to finish. From the logistics and aesthetics, and the food to staffing, everything was easy and clear throughout the process. An additional challenge was making all food vegan but catering to non-vegan guests, and the culinary staff did an amazing job. Highly recommend Snug Harbor and would definitely host an event there again in the future.

Celebrate has been known to host events on holidays such as July 4th, Memorial Day weekend, etc. Of course, it doesn’t happen often, but we’re open to most holidays.
Having a wedding planner is always helpful, especially when planning an elaborate ceremony or reception, putting together a destination wedding or coordinating guests from out of town. That said, our wedding catering and planning experts are ready to help you every step of the way—just contact us to get started.
Yes, and they are at full access to you and your bridal party on the day of your wedding.
The Tented Pavilion is available from April through the third weekend of October, comfortably accommodating between 220 and 300 guests, depending on your desire for a dance floor. While the tent is not climate controlled, we offer large fans for warmer weather and heaters for cool.
Whether you choose our Outdoor-Indoor package or our All-Outdoor package, we have set back up plans for both wedding spaces. In case of rain our Events Specialists will communicate the situation at least 2 hours prior to your start time and with the approval of the couple our team will begin the reset for our rain plan.
Yes, outside décor can be brought in, please communicate with our Events Specialists about the décor you have in mind. The team will be able to provide you with a list of items that aren’t allowed in certain spaces. For example, balloons are not allowed in our Upper Great Hall due to its 40-ft. cathedral-like ceiling but are allowed in our Tented Pavilion space.
Guests minimum guarantee varies depending on day and year of your wedding. Please feel free to ask our Events Specialists for more information! After you have signed your contract, you are financially accountable for that number. Although, you are always more than welcome to raise your head count, but not decrease it.
Our wedding package is a 6-hour time frame. We break it down for 1 hour for the ceremony, one 1 hour for cocktail hour, and the remaining 4 hours for reception.
We recommend couples start planning for their big day three to 12 months in advance of their wedding date.
Relish is a fully licensed catering company, offering a wide range of bar and beverage package options to perfectly complement your event.
Yes, our list of preferred vendors will be given to you when you book with us. Each partner is highly recommended and has successfully serviced many weddings at Celebrate.

Making sure you and your bridal party are prepared to walk down the aisle is one of the final steps in the planning process! We can schedule a rehearsal for your ceremony, it’s not always done in case your entire bridal party can’t make it. The day of our team of Events Specialists will be there to ensure everyone is ready to walk down the aisle at a set pace and at their time!
