I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras to using flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. My name is, yensy marquez Born in the Dominican Republic where I spent my early childhood before moving to the United States at the age of 5. I have always had love for the arts and music. I spent my teenage years drawing cartoons and Japanase manga. I discovered my love for photography during my late teenage years when I got my hands on my first cellphone with a camera. I was always the go to picture person during family events and gatherings. Though they were admittedly average at the time, everyone loved them and always encouraged me to get a real camera. I finally saved up for one and never looked back.
