“I agree with the hundreds of 5-star reviews of Second Song, but I wanted to specifically give a shout out to DJ Tyler O! While Second Song made the process leading up to the wedding easy and seamless (and the cold sparklers were a hit), DJ Tyler did an amazing job at my wedding and absolutely CRUSHED the dance floor. My husband and I have differing music tastes, but DJ Tyler was able to find common ground and played banger after banger that kept all of our guests on the dance floor till the very end. As someone who goes to music festivals often, I was impressed by his mixing skills and appreciated that there was never an abrupt transition between songs. He also did an amazing job MC’ing and executed all of our requests for playing specific songs at certain times and starting songs in the middle. I don’t think you can go wrong with any DJ’s with Second Song, but I do highly recommend picking DJ Tyler O!”

He instantly understood the vibe we wanted from our meeting before hand and the app they provide was so convenient to add everything we wanted in. He even added in new Taylor Swift songs into the night when the album only came out the day before. And he surprised us with a remix of a song with Taylor Swift and my husbands band. “The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going.  We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave.  They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!”

“Nicky Avalo Studios is AMAZING. DJ Redd kept the dance floor filled all night long. I was one of the crazy brides who had a veryyyyy long must play list and he did a great job at playing the songs that kept people singing & dancing. From the very start, it was such an easy process!! Nicky was so so helpful. I filled out the document and everything I asked for was done. Before the wedding, I had actual nightmares about who would DJ my wedding (no idea why… just mustve been what I was most nervous for?! LOL) and WOW those nightmares were all wrong. DJ Redd is the best & even joined us on the dance floor! Seriously I cant say enough good things. I told Nicky about the nightmares I had & he went above & beyond & showed up to our wedding to say hey which just made it even more special. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“Amplify has been awesome to work with throughout our whole wedding experience from the first phone consultation to our last dance! We were paired with Dj Autumn and she brought the vibes! She even worked out a special cue with my husband so that the first dance wasn’t too long!! Everyone stayed dancing and she even joined us on the dance floor during the last song, I gave her the vibes and she made an awesome playlist! My money was definitely well spent using amplify and Autumn as our wedding dj!”

This for us included baby photos displayed for our parent dances, custom logo displayed as well, a photobooth, and a superb violinist for our ceremony. They were also extremely attentive to my crazy long detailed must-play list. “Chime entertainment is an all around amazing vendor for DJ/MCEE, Photo booth, and videography services. Our day was amazing thanks to them! The Photo Booth added such a fun touch to the evening and was definitely a huge hit with all the funny props! It also left us with a full digital album of all of our guests having the time of their lives and was immediately available for us to look at (which came in handy while we waited for our wedding photos to come back). Everyone wont stop talking about how fun/perfect our wedding was and these guys were definitely the reason. “Marcus did an amazing job as the DJ for our wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse! Prior to the wedding, we completed a worksheet on the timeline and our song preferences, and then had a planning meeting with him where we went over all the details and he gave us advice on flow and timeline based on his extensive experience DJ-ing weddings. Through all our interactions, we could tell how detail-oriented and experienced he was. The Prospect Park Boathouse can be a tricky venue with its short load-in time and long, narrow layout, but Marcus knew it well and planned accordingly. We also had a Vietnamese/Chinese wedding; in addition to a DJ, we also had a pianist with a singer, and a bilingual emcee. This added some complexity in terms of timeline and switching between the singer and the DJ, but Marcus coordinated well with everyone, kept track of the timeline, and handled all transitions between live music and DJ sets seamlessly. He also showed up a little early to make sure all equipment was set up well and did a mic check during the cocktail hour. During the dance portion of the night, the dance floor was packed all night and people did not want to leave! He played all the songs we wanted (along with additional ones he selected) and all the transitions and mixes were fantastic and kept the energy/vibe high. Many guests commented on how great our DJ was! Even though we had a different emcee, we know that Marcus would have done a fantastic job as an emcee as well - he is warm, friendly, gracious, and charismatic. He is not only a great DJ but also a fantastic human being!”

“Golden Bell Music was worth EVERY penny AND MORE! It's been 6 months since my wedding and I'm STILL getting comments on how much fun all our guests had! Even my mother-in-law who doesn't dance did NOT sit down! I'm Lebanese and my husband is Israeli, so I had asked for help mixing songs to combine our cultures and then move into more western music. I'm still getting sooooo many compliments from our families on how we were able to combine our traditions and our music! And our guests LOST IT when they came out on the dance floor with their instruments and danced with us! I did this in lieu of a zaffet group because i wanted something more unique -- in lebanon a drumline would follow the bride and groom and dance/perform for guests -- and it was definitely the right choice!!! On top of their amazing performance, Marlon was **insanely helpful** both leading up to the day and on the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and was making last minute decisions/timeline changes myself the day of. I couldn't have done it so smoothly without Marlon being so helpful as an MC and being so willing to roll with it! He was absolutely fantastic!! Cut your budget wherever you can to make sure you can hire them. It's SO worth it! Thank you Golden Bell Music for making it the best day of summer (so i've been told. multiple times. by different guests.)!! I don't know for what occasion, but I'm 100% going to find a reason to hire them again.”
