I specialize in making space for people to be their authentic selves, and being able to notice and capture those moments when they happen. I work with a simple hourly pricing model, and offer discounts for payment up front, and to LGBTQ+ couples.🏳️‍🌈 My favorite things: nontraditional weddings, getting to include your dog, music, queer and gender nonconforming wedding clothing, beautiful lighting, improvising and making it work on the day©, my tendency to overpack and always have snacks, tools and a first aid kit nearby.

“I had Steve take my art headshots/portraits and I LOVE them. He's a wizard with his equipment and lighting. I don't see myself needing new ones anytime soon. He delivered several different feels and images so I have enough to choose from for several different needs. Highly recommend!”

I am so glad you found your way here! My name is Steph (it's lovely to meet you!). I was born and raised overseas in Sri Lanka and moved to the beautiful PNW for college and decided to stay. The world and the people in it are too beautiful not to be art - so here we are creating art out of the beautiful moments you and your lives bring into being. Besides taking photos, I am a big fan of milk tea, hedgehogs, my kid and husband, sleeping in, summer, curry, and friends to share it with. I would love to hear more about you and your story and how I can help document some of your beautiful moments!

“100/10 — Stephanie Was Absolutely Incredible! We honestly cannot recommend Stephanie enough! From start to finish, she was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was kind, patient, professional, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera—which is no small feat! Our photos turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Stephanie captured not only the big, important moments, but also all of the little details, emotions, and candid moments that made our day so special. Looking through our gallery felt like reliving the entire day all over again, and we will treasure these memories forever. What really stood out to us was how genuinely invested Stephanie was in making sure we had an amazing experience. She was so easy to work with, incredibly creative, and had such a wonderful eye for capturing the moments that mattered most. If you are looking for a photographer who is talented, thoughtful, professional, and truly passionate about what she does, BOOK STEPHANIE! You absolutely will not regret it. 100/10 doesn't even begin to do her justice. We are so incredibly grateful that Stephanie was the one who captured these memories for us!”

Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a Washington-based photographer with a love for documenting people exactly as they are. For me, wedding photography is about so much more than taking pretty pictures. It’s about preserving the way your day actually felt — the nerves before the ceremony, the happy tears, the laughter, the people you love, and all of those little moments happening in between. My approach is relaxed, genuine, and centered around connection. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I also leave plenty of room for you to simply be together and enjoy your day.

Lemonade Photography

I never meant to be a wedding photographer - but somehow, here I am. I started my career as a newspaper reporter, and left that to be a writer and photographer for a public university. Almost 10 years into my second career, I was laid off - so I turned some pretty sour lemons into Lemonade Photography. I'm a lifelong Northwesterner, a mom to two boys, a nature lover, a proud geek and quite possibly the biggest Harry Potter fan you'll ever meet (don't challenge me to a Potter trivia contest; you WILL lose). I love to laugh, and I love to make my clients laugh along with me.

“Highly recommend working with Lemonade Photography! Our wedding was 5 years ago and we still have fond memories of working with Jill. She was great at capturing the feel we wanted, is super friendly, and easy to work with. Her communication is excellent, and you will feel very taken care of.”

“Annaliesa (and mark) went above and beyond. They helped us set up and break down. Anna was determined to get things done to the point we had to actually make her stop and eat. She cleared out chair to make a dance floor. She even helped with our kids while we were running around and getting ready. Mark even made me a plate of food and made me sit down to eat in the middle of all the chaos. Which I really appreciated. They were on top of everything! And she got all of our pics back to us in less than 24 hours!! We love all our pics and are so thankful we have these memories captured.”

Photographs are love letters to the heart. I’m here to capture the most important moments of your life from the first anniversary, to the engagement, to the first day of your lives as a married couple. I have been a photographer for 8 years now and I love what I do! Not everyone can say they chose their career at the age of 14 but I feel so lucky enough to say I did. Located in the Seattle/Tacoma area willing to travel anywhere to be your official hype woman!

Awarded Best of Zola
“Allison is hands down the best! My husband and I did not consider ourselves to be particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but after working with Allison for both our engagement and wedding photos -- we were simply blown away! Allison and her husband Nikita are everything you want in your wedding day team -- they do a great job posing you (while also keeping plenty of room for candids and natural moments), keeping the day moving (especially with wrangling a very very long family shot list with multiple small children) and also reading the energy of the room and giving breaks and hype ups as needed. Our wedding day gallery makes me tear up every time I open it, and I couldn't be more grateful to Allison for making it all come together!”

I'm Jen, the founder of Vow House, a Seattle-based wedding photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with an editorial, artful, and cinematic approach. With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I have built a body of work that blends moody, timeless imagery with authentic storytelling, tailored to each couple’s vision. My work is deeply influenced by atmosphere and environment, the rainy Seattle streets, mountain backdrops, candlelit interiors, and I thrive on translating these settings into images that feel both grand and intimate.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Jen was an absolute dream to work with. From our engagement session to our wedding day, she made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Neither of us are naturals at posing, but Jen gave just enough direction while still allowing us to be ourselves, which made every photo feel genuine. She also helped so much with our wedding timeline and knew exactly how to keep the day moving while making sure we never felt rushed. She captured every important moment while somehow blending into the background when she needed to. Even before receiving our full gallery, the sneak peeks completely blew us away. They are stunning, and we already know these photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives. We couldn’t recommend Jen more!”

As an artist in the 21st century, I am overwhelmed by all that we cannot trust. The landscapes are edited, the portraits are airbrushed, and the legitimacy of what we see on social media is anyone's guess. That's why it is my passion and life pursuit to capture our most precious things in life - our loves, our families, our unrepeatable moments - in the most true-to-life and timeless way possible. I live for the unguarded moments that take our breath away. If you want to capture this time in your life in all its perfect authenticity, it's my job and my joy to capture the soul of these things for you to hold in time forever.

“Eliza is AMAZING! Booking her for our wedding was the best decision we made by far. From the start, she was communicative, professional, helpful, insightful, fun, and an incredibly talented photographer. I was drawn to her work because of her light and natural editing style, and she made our special day truly shine with her photos. She has an eye for capturing beauty and the small moments that is unmatched! From our gorgeous engagement shoot to our wedding day, she has given us moments in time that we will treasure forever. For that, Eliza, we are truly grateful!! Book her!! :)”

But hey, don't let my current location or specialties prevent you from reaching out, I am always eager to travel and experience new places and people.

“Morgan is an exceptional photographer with so much talent and care for her craft. From day one, she was incredibly professional, thoughtful, and organized. Working with her was so easy and straightforward. She told us exactly what she needed from us, and she was always prompt with her communication. We loved working with Morgan for so many reasons, but her thoughtfulness, sincerity, and flexibility are particular memorable. Especially with all the chaos that comes with the wedding, it was refreshing to have Morgan be in charge of our photos, because she kept a cool demeanor and was easy going, but prescriptive. Beyond her professionalism and personality, my family, friends, and I are absolutely stunned by how beautiful our photos came out. The photos were creative while maintaining timeless elegance. Morgan's expertise with outdoor photography was perfect for our venue because we had a lot of natural sunlight come through our space since we had a lot of windows. I truly cannot express how thankful I am that Morgan was our photographer. I wish we could have another vent just to have her do more photography for us! Her turn around time was extremely reasonable as well!”

With us, you don't need to worry about things like how to pose -- all you need to do on your day is smile & relax! We'll take it from there.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Brayley. From start to finish, she was hands down one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. I originally found her on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her work. From our very first consultation, I knew I wanted her as our photographer. She was so incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and intentional with the questions she asked. She genuinely wanted to get to know us and make sure our personalities, vision, and overall vibe were a good fit for her photography style — and that level of care continued through the entire process. Once we booked her, she made everything SO easy. She checked in with us throughout the planning process, sent update emails, always offered to help however she could, and gave us the most detailed resources to prepare for the wedding day. She had checklists for detail photos, preference sheets, planning documents — seriously, everything you could possibly think of. I never once felt like I had to wonder what she needed from me because she had already thought of it. And then came the wedding day… Brayley was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We only booked her without a second photographer, and somehow she managed to capture our entire night so perfectly. She was everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. She never made us feel rushed or stressed, even when we were running a little behind while getting ready. She rolled with everything, kept things moving, and somehow even managed to wrangle all of the boys and get every group photo we wanted. What I loved most, though, was how much I trusted her creatively. We gave her the freedom to do what she does best, and she gave us photos that are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She captured the big moments, the tiny moments, the emotions, the people we love, and so many little pieces of our wedding that I didn’t even realize were happening at the time. Looking through our gallery genuinely feels like reliving our wedding night. I tear up EVERY SINGLE TIME I look through our photos. She didn’t just give us beautiful wedding pictures — she gave my husband and me the ability to go back and experience one of the best nights of our lives over and over again. If you are looking at Brayley’s work and considering booking her, DO IT. There is absolutely no one else I would have wanted behind the camera on our wedding day. She is talented, organized, patient, kind, creative, and just an absolute joy to work with. Brayley, THANK YOU for capturing our wedding so beautifully and giving us photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives. I truly cannot recommend you enough.”

Kate and Josh Gansneder are a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Snohomish, WA. Together they have documented 650+ weddings across Seattle and Snohomish County over 15 years. Couples consistently describe working with them as feeling like having a trusted friend there, not a vendor - someone who knew what they needed before they did, made them feel calm on a day that could have been overwhelming, and cared about the whole experience not just the photographs. Camera-shy couples forget the camera exists. Families get through formals fast so everyone can get to the party.

“From our first conversation with Kate at GSquared Weddings Photography, we knew we'd made the right choice. She kept us in the loop with timely messages throughout our planning process and even sent helpful articles to guide us along the way. On our wedding day, Kate showed up prepared for anything—she had red wine wipes on hand, kept our timeline running smoothly, and navigated some tricky family moments with grace and humor. Her eye for candid, dynamic shots really shines in our photos, capturing the raw joy and emotion of the day without feeling posed. Kate anticipated our needs before we even realized we had them, which let us focus on enjoying every second. We can't recommend GSquared Weddings Photography enough.”

I’m Kirstin! An emotionally driven, film-forward wedding photographer based in the desert Southwest. I work with wildly-in-love couples who want their wedding to feel like them: artful, offbeat, deeply intentional. I photograph elopements and micro-weddings with a storytelling lens- capturing not just how your day looked, but how it felt. My work blends digital + 35mm film to preserve the honest, unposed, heart-full moments in all their textured, tear-filled, windswept beauty. My couples tend to be nostalgic, a little nontraditional, and full of feeling. If that’s you- you’re in the right place.

Leah made the whole process stress-free with her clear communication and warm personality. On the big day, Leah walked into a whirlwind of activity, but she calmly focused and started capturing the magic. She helped me stay relaxed and assured me everything would be perfect – I'll never forget that. Leah's photos are simply breathtaking. She's a true artist who captured every detail just as I imagined. She made sure we had time for portraits, but also caught those spontaneous, joyful moments that made our day so special. We are beyond thrilled with the photos Leah delivered. The cherry on top was seeing how excited Leah was at the wedding – she even quickly edited a photo on the spot! Born and raised in a small town in rural Ohio, I’m now based near Seattle capturing love stories across the PNW and beyond. I’m a cat dad, recently engaged to my beautiful fiancée, and obsessed with honest, artful photography that reflects who you are—not just how things looked, but how they felt. Whether it’s a mountaintop elopement, courthouse “I do,” or backyard celebration with your closest people, I’m here to tell your story in a way that feels true to you.

“From the first time I looked through Nathaniel’s work, I knew he understood the kind of magic I wanted captured on our wedding day. There is such a romantic quality to his photography—the colors, the composition, the way he uses the surroundings—and his style felt completely right for us. And looking at our photos now, I regret absolutely nothing. His work is beautiful. Nathaniel himself has a very calm, gentle, soft-spoken presence, which was honestly lovely to have around us on such an emotional and overwhelming day. He never felt intrusive or like there was constantly a camera in our faces. There are so many photographs where I look at them and wonder how he managed to capture that particular moment without me even realizing he was there. One thing I would mention for future couples is that if you have a large wedding party or family that needs some serious wrangling, I would make sure your coordinator or another designated person is prepared to take charge of gathering people and keeping everyone moving through the shot list. Nathaniel is naturally more soft-spoken than commanding, and with a big group and a busy timeline, having someone there who can loudly call names and keep everyone organized would be really helpful. We also occasionally reminded him that we wanted plenty of candid photos throughout the day, as it was easy for everyone to get swept up in everything happening. That being said, Nathaniel ended up being so much more than just our photographer that day. Our day-of coordination unfortunately wasn't as present as we had expected, and Nathaniel was frequently the person right there beside us when we needed someone. At one point I spilled a drink and he immediately jumped in to help me clean it up. He tracked down things we needed from the groomsmen. He helped walk us through signing our marriage license. These weren't things that were technically his responsibility, but when he saw that we needed help, he helped. I will always remember and appreciate that. There is something incredibly reassuring about having a photographer who genuinely cares about the people on the other side of his camera. We spent so much of one of the most important days of our lives with Nathaniel beside us, and his calm presence made him incredibly easy to have there. Most importantly, though, we have beautiful photographs that actually feel like our wedding. They are romantic without feeling artificial, colorful without being overdone, and composed in a way that captured just how beautiful the day felt to us while we were living it. There are photos that feel grand and cinematic and others that capture tiny moments I never want to forget. Wedding photography was something that mattered enormously to me because when everything else from the day is over, these are the images we get to keep. I wanted photographs that would bring me back to how our wedding *felt*, not simply document what it looked like. Nathaniel gave us that, and I am incredibly grateful he was the person behind the camera on our wedding day.”

“Cecilia is a talented photographer, skilled editor, and an absolute joy to be around. During the reception, many people came over to tell me how wonderful and professional she was. She's clear with her communication and expectations, and she ensures that she knows your wants/needs for the day. I felt at ease knowing I could trust one of the most important parts of our wedding to her. And WOW, did she deliver! We just got our full album back and I am blown away by the quality. Cecilia captured our day perfectly and I love being able to relive the day over and over again. She's amazing, I would book her for my wedding 1000 over!”

“Hereafter Films was one of the first vendors we booked early on in the wedding planning process, and we are sooooooo glad we did! Ryan and Sharayah were amazing to work with, along with their entire team. They photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and honestly, both sets of photos came out better than we could have imagined! Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding. We really wanted our day to be captured in a way that felt authentic, emotional, and true to who we are, and Hereafter ABSOLUTELY nailed it! We looked at a lot of photographers, but the second we saw their portfolio, we were sold. Their style immediately stood out, and the fact that they shoot 35mm film was huge for us. The Super 8 option was such a fun bonus and made us even more excited about working with them. Their work feels timeless, intentional, and full of real emotion. On the wedding day itself, it felt incredible knowing we didn’t have to worry about a single thing when it came to photography and video. We trusted their creative process 1000%, and they truly made the entire day feel effortless. They handled our family and friends with so much patience, care, and ease, and so many people kept telling us how wonderful they were. Looking through our photos now instantly brings us right back to how the day felt, which is something we’ll always be grateful for. Beyond their obvious talent and artistry, Ryan and Sharayah are just genuinely awesome, laid-back, fun people to be around, and their calm, cool energy made such a difference. We feel incredibly lucky to have had them capture one of the most important days of our lives. 1000000% recommend booking Hereafter Films!”

My approach in photography is relaxed and lightly guided, leaving room for movement, connection, and images that feel nostalgic and timeless. I’m especially drawn to in-home family sessions — unhurried, familiar, and captured in the spaces where life is already growing. It would be my honor to document your sweet moments with family and loved ones!
