I'm Jen, the founder of Vow House, a Seattle-based wedding photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with an editorial, artful, and cinematic approach. With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I have built a body of work that blends moody, timeless imagery with authentic storytelling, tailored to each couple’s vision. My work is deeply influenced by atmosphere and environment, the rainy Seattle streets, mountain backdrops, candlelit interiors, and I thrive on translating these settings into images that feel both grand and intimate.

She took our photos for our court house wedding and we hired her to do our reception photos next year because we liked them so much. If you’re looking for someone who can capture your special moments she is a great option. Her pricing is very reasonable. Also she is just easy and fun to work with! She really went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company to take photos at your wedding! We loved our photographer Percy. He was incredible, and so helpful. He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). But before we got Percy and our booking process with eivans it was super simple, and just an overall great experience.

Original Weddings Photo & Video
Rating: 4.9 (209 reviews)
Seattle, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,800

Original Weddings Photo & Video is a team of EMMY award winning storytellers. Our photography and videography packages are tailored to you, customizable and perfect for every wedding. We offer engagement photography, wedding photos, highlight films, wedding coverage and more.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our wedding was filled with whimsy and charm - Original Weddings was able to capture that energy in video and film, so we can revisit that experience for a lifetime. Thank you for your attention to detail and level of care - we are overjoyed with the results! EXPERIENCE - We interviewed a few photography companies to compare prices, offerings, and aesthetic appeal; we ultimately decided on OW because they offered the best rates for videography and photography packages. From the beginning, the customer experience was favorable with multiple opportunities for touchpoints and planning. Their pricing is transparent and straight-forward; the add-ons will be tempting, and it will cost you. However, we appreciated that our interactions with the office staff weren't sales driven; they shared the options for add-ons without it being pushy. All communication and planning details are handled through a personalized portal and its the easiest way to ask questions and relay changes to the photography team. If you are someone that is not particularly organized, you'll love this feature and the imbedded questionnaires. They'll serve as a guide to crafting the look, identifying highlights to be captured, and a space for notes to the team working with you on the day of. During the wedding day, everything went smoothly and everyone was professional and personable. Their presence didn't feel intrusive and they expertly worked around our timeline to maximize efficiency. RESULTS - Our gallery was a fantastic mix of curated moments and candid memories. Each cluster of photos creates a timestamp throughout the day and it was a welcome reminder of all the small details of the wedding that can be easily missed among the shuffle of it all. In our package we stuck with 8 hours of photography and videography; electing afterwards to request the raw footage for an additional charge. I believe the quality of the photos and videos is phenomenal for the price - something similar may be double the price, especially if you're looking for more aesthetic/Instagramish vibe - we went traditional and it exceeded our expectations. SHOUTOUTS - I have to give special kudos to the team that worked directly with us. For planning and logistics, Sarah and Gabriella were attentive and quick to respond to questions. Sarah was very sweet and made our wedding feel like a priority and not just one of many they're juggling. I appreciate her collaboration on capturing the specifics to ensure even the smallest details were relayed to the team; and the results speak for themselves. The true heroes of the day were Pricilla, Sanaa, and Collin; they were the team tasked with documenting the magic of the day in a fashion that captured our essence as a couple. They quickly became a highlight of the experience - we hit it off immediately and their energy was uplifting and reassuring. We are eternally grateful for their patience with our families and the lighthearted approach they took to dealing with grumpier relatives. Overall, it was a beautiful day, and we are overjoyed to have been paired with this team because they did a phenomenal job.

From the very first contact, he was incredibly responsive (super important to us), friendly and professional. His work looked great so we were excited - then we found out he was featured in Vogue! We were stoked. He was amazing to work with on the wedding day - punctual, friendly, got all the requested shots, and the whole bridal party loved him. We got our pictures back today - and they’re so much better than we could have dreamed of. It’s no wonder he was featured in Vogue - his work is artistic, candid, and beautiful. Hey I'm Chelsea! I'm a wedding photographer based out of Seattle, Washington. I'm a super happy 35-year old who is head over heels in love with her job. Photography lets me combine all of my INFJ superpowers into one package, & it fills me with so much joy to share that with my clients. As a wedding planner, she made my job easier from start to finish! She was extremely kind and responsive in the months before the wedding. Joseph Tobiason
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
Seattle, WA

I believe that everyone is beautiful. Somewhere deep within you, there is a fire of light and joy. Not everyone’s light shines in the same way or with the same strength or even all the time. Stuff changes. People are different, but deep down, everyone is connected to the little bit of themselves that is truly theirs. I’m also all about being adventurous. That could mean we’re going to go climb a mountain or it might mean we’re going to try the really spicy chai tea. By experiencing life in the process of making photos, you’re going to be even more connected to the images because they will have stories that go along with them.

We cannot say enough good things about Joe! From the moment we met him, he blended seamlessly into the experience, capturing the most genuine and heartfelt moments of our elopement without ever forcing anything or making us feel like we were "posing." It felt like he was part of the natural flow of the day, which made the entire experience so comfortable and laid-back. Joe’s professionalism truly shone through. He worked around our unique timeline and even managed to photograph at two different locations without a hitch! We never felt pressured, rushed, or uncomfortable. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable especially for us not being super comfortable in front of a camera. But the real magic happened when we received our photos. We were completely speechless! It felt like we were reliving every moment again—pinching ourselves that those incredible images were actually of us. Joe captured the essence of our love so beautifully, we couldn’t believe how perfect every shot was. We appreciate his thoughtfulness in the delivery of images with a special gift and keeping this secret off social media until we were ready to share. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a photographer who can turn your special moments into stunning memories. He has a rare gift of capturing love as it truly is. Thank you, Joe!

Becky G Studios
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
Seattle, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

California native, PNW resident, coffee drinker, dog scritcher, friend, forward-thinker, designer. I hate having my photo taken (go figure), my dog Boone makes me laugh every day, and I thrive off of honest, intentional conversations. I’ve worked as a photographer for over 8 years and I know that half the job is connecting with people and offering them an experience, not just a gallery. I believe you have to feel comfortable with the person behind the camera before you can let go and fully be yourself in front of it.

Becky is AMAZING! I first met her in 2016, when she photographed my college graduation pictures. In 2018 - a little over a year into dating Ryan - I asked her to do our holiday pictures. She made Ryan feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera for the first time! Over the years, Becky has documented our love and has become a very close part of our lives as a couple. She was there for our engagement pictures in 2022 and we couldn’t imagine our wedding day being documented by anyone else. A month before our wedding, we did private vows under Mount Rainier. Just me, Ryan, Becky and the mountain. Ryan and I wanted it to be as private as possible. Becky was so great at giving us privacy during the reading of our vows while still getting BEAUTIFUL and intimate pictures of it. Having her at our wedding was truly having a friend there who just happens to take stunning pictures. We are so grateful for the memories she has preserved over the years and hope she will be there for future memories! We also love that she supports Black-led and Black-supporting organizations by donating from her earnings for every shoot!

Emily Paris Photography

Seattle, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

I’m Emily, and I’m a photographer who loves the outdoors, bright colors, and creating photos that capture your authentic self. My style is colorful, documentary, and photojournalistic. I’ll capture the standard portraits for your extended family to put on their fridge, of course, but I also try to create photos that show what it really felt like to be there – the bright smiles, the tears, the dancing.

We are DJ company based in the Seattle area and we worked with Emily at The Lodge at St Edwards Park last May. As the DJ, we have the ability to interact with all the vendors and see how the flow of the evening is going. It's so appreciated when vendors make life easier for others, and Emily does just that! Emily has clearly mastered the craft of photography and also working with other vendors. The end result is that the couple has the best night ever, and then their photos are a direct reflection of that. Can't wait to work with Emily again!

He is very skilled in making a wedding day run smoothly with photos and creating a timeline. He made us feel comfortable and in return created some amazing photos capturing our personalities and relationship perfectly. If you're the adventurous type he is your guy too! We snuck of to beautiful fields and landscapes near sunset and they are some of my most favorite photos. There aren’t many times in your life you have your best friends and family members gathered together in one place. this lends itself to good photography. but it’s important we get good access, that we be able to photograph you from the perspective of a close friend or family member. we want to shoot your wedding from the inside out, not the outside in. when you get your photos we want to bring you back to those moments in an intimate and impactful way, so you can remember how it felt.

Hiring Melanie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we connected, her warmth, professionalism, and grounded energy put us completely at ease. She’s not just a photographer—she’s a deeply intuitive presence who sees people in a way that is rare and sacred. Throughout the planning process, Melanie communicated with such clarity and kindness. We always felt informed, cared for, and completely confident in her. She truly went above and beyond—balancing artistry with organization, professionalism with deep presence. On the day itself, she floated through our space like a calming force, capturing moments we didn’t even realize were happening until we saw the images. Her work is stunning—rich, emotional, soulful. Every frame feels like a memory you can feel. She captures not just what things looked like, but how they felt. Our Super 8 film made us both cry. The textures, the movement, the way she threads nostalgia into the modern moment… it’s magic. What we appreciated most, though, was her. Her energy, her grace under pressure, her dedication to getting it right—not just technically, but energetically. Melanie holds space in a way that makes everyone feel safe and seen. That’s something you can’t teach. If you are lucky enough to work with her—do it. She is a true artist, a steady hand, and a beautiful human. We are forever grateful. - Rachel

I am an art person, and a people person. I’m forever in love with lines, textures, colors, and more than anything, the vibrant connection between people. Nothing gets me more inspired than good light, a gorgeous view, and a love story.

Lindsey is the EXACT person you need to capture your most precious moments in life. We have asked her to be there for our engagement pictures, wedding pictures, and for our daughters newborn photos as well. She was a calm and refreshing presences at our wedding. She was professional, personable, and didn't add to any wedding stress. Which made it that much better too! My husband and I look at our photos all the time and are so grateful we asked her to capture these memories. Book her and you will not be sorry. The quality and care she puts into her work is very rare now a days. Lindsey is a very talented photographer and we will be using her for many future moments as well.

An Illinois-born Creative and Alternative (Ordained) Wedding Photographer and Designer living in West Seattle. I love my two Standard Poodles - Gallifrey & Lola, my perfectly worn in black leather jacket, my dark blue BMW Z4 aka "Sexy", Doctor Who, a really good cup of coffee (or three) and my ever supportive partner on this journey - Casey. I believe that everyone has a story and that story deserves to be captured and told. Love is love. Weddings, elopements, proposals, vow renewals, couples portraits and more... I'm here for it in the PNW and beyond.

From the moment we booked Brandy A Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Brandy and her assistant were personable, clear, and warm in their communication, guiding us through the process with a direct and action-oriented approach. Their work was truly exceptional - Brandy has an incredible eye for capturing the unique personality and special moments of our wedding day. She made sure to get all the photos we requested, but also had the creativity to add in her own artistic touches that we hadn't even thought of. Brandy and her assistant were a pleasure to work with - they blended into the background seamlessly, allowing us to be fully present and comfortable throughout the day. My grandson even commented on how much he enjoyed working with them. I personally loved how Brandy's assistant was able to communicate without saying a word, anticipating our needs and making the whole experience effortless. We are thrilled with the final photos and would highly recommend Brandy A Photography to any couple looking for a talented, personable, and professional wedding photographer.

I love what I do because I get to witness moments of joy and turn them into gorgeous photos that contain the feeling of the moment forever. My style is a little classic, a little editorial, a little photojournalistic, and everything about telling your one and only story. When you look back at your photos in one, five, twenty or fifty years, I want you to remember how the day felt, each photo holding a moment in time.

Awarded Best of Zola
Emily went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best.day.ever. Whether it was getting to know us through our engagement shoot, helping me trouble shoot our day of timeline, recommending vendors, and keeping us calm on the big day-she was the #1 reason our day ran so smoothly. Her humor put us at ease, her direct but calm demeanor kept things on track, and above all, she truly cared that we were enjoying ourselves! Emily was the first vendor I contacted after becoming engaged, and she was the best decision we could have made. Our photos are perfection!

As the years have gone by in my career, I have had the pleasure of cultivating a long-lasting journey with my clients, no matter where it began. I have joined in at various times, whether it was at the start of a marriage or with a family that had kids. Regardless of when it all started, I love being there every step of the way to preserve the fleeting moments. We can agree that life goes by far too fast and change is inevitable. Let’s capture these moments, shall we?

Victor Zerga was one of the most professional and kind people we have ever worked with! From the very beginning of our wedding plans, I knew I wanted our wedding photos to reflect Victor’s beautiful lighting style and creativity. He was the photographer for a friend of ours’ wedding years back and I knew I would want to fly him out to Dallas to be a part of our special weekend. My husband and I had an East-African/American bicultural wedding that lasted 2 days long of celebrating and Victor knew exactly what we needed and how to handle our intense wedding party and guests (over 1,000 people at our reception). We’re so grateful for our flawless wedding photos! It’s a time we will never ever forget.

Wilderpines Elopements

We're a Seattle-based team of adventure elopement photographers and planners, creating intentional, stress-free elopement experiences across Washington — from the Cascades to the coast. More than just photographers: we’re also your guides, planners, officiants, and adventure crew, here to help you plan the elopement of your dreams from start to finish — so you can focus on each other, not the logistics. Hiking boots optional.

If you're thinking about eloping in Washington, book Wilderpines right now! In all seriousness, choosing Wilderpines for our elopement was the best decision we made. My husband and I didn’t have many concrete ideas for our elopement— all we knew was that we wanted to be in Olympic National Park. I came across Wilderpines during my search and was immediately captivated by how stunning the photos were. I showed my husband, and he told me to book immediately (literally the only photographer he even looked at!). From our first meeting with Ashton, we knew we’d made the right choice. Ashton was so warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly talented. From the guides Ashton provided after our initial consultation to all the follow-up chats leading up to our wedding day, Ashton took our small ideas and helped us plan the perfect day. On the day itself, Ashton went above and beyond. Not only did he capture every special moment, but he also provided much-needed hot coffee at 6 a.m.(a way to my heart), to letting us use your subaru as a backdrop (as we are also subaru people), bandaids for when a choice to jump off a rock was made (mine), to also committing to get into Lake Crescent when we decided to jump in (on a rainy, chilly September day), and to so many many memorable moments he made with us during our day. The photos are absolutely STUNNING. Ashton is seriously so talented, a wonderful planner, and we seriously walked away feeling like we have a new friend in our life, which was the icing on top of the cake for our perfect day. Thank you so much!

Hi, my name is Olga and I am a wedding, elopement and family photographer based in Seattle. My style is light, romantic and timeless. I love to tell your story through the pictures and capture the love between you. Things I love: spending time with my family, beach walk, spontaneous road trips, hiking, mountains, sushi, good music and sunny days:) I love to meet new people and discover new places. Life is a journey with lots of happy moments. I would love to capture them for you!

Olga is an absolute delight to work with. She is friendly, professional, respectful, and encouraging. Olga's photos also turn out incredible. Olga does a wonderful job of making the photos unique to the couple and not feel cookie-cutter. I have worked with Olga twice, once as a groomsman and once as a groom, and both experiences were 10/10. I would unquestionably recommend hiring Olga for your wedding photography.
