Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a Washington-based photographer with a love for documenting people exactly as they are. For me, wedding photography is about so much more than taking pretty pictures. It’s about preserving the way your day actually felt — the nerves before the ceremony, the happy tears, the laughter, the people you love, and all of those little moments happening in between. My approach is relaxed, genuine, and centered around connection. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I also leave plenty of room for you to simply be together and enjoy your day.

You don’t have to know how to pose or feel completely comfortable in front of a camera — that’s what I’m here for! I blend gentle direction with a documentary approach, creating beautiful portraits while still giving the real moments room to happen naturally. I care about the little things just as much as the big ones: your people tearing up during the ceremony, the way you look at each other when no one is paying attention, the hugs, the chaos, and everything in between. I want your gallery to tell the whole story of your day, not just show what it looked like.

    Amazing

    Samantha Gomez Photography made our wedding day so much better. From our first conversation, she was kind and patient with all of our questions, and her funny personality helped keep things light throughout the planning process and on the big day itself. She stayed organized with timelines and details, always responding quickly when we reached out. During the ceremony and reception, Samantha made us feel at ease in front of the camera, which meant we could actually enjoy the moments instead of stressing about poses.     Samantha did such a beautiful job on our weddings photos. The day was very chaotic for a courthouse wedding and she made everything go seamlessly. I don’t love getting my picture taken, but she made my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the whole session. Sam was also easy going with location, time, and poses. You won’t regret choosing her as your photographer!

    Sam did an amazing job! She did our son’s senior photos and we couldn’t be happier. She really took her time and made it special for all of us but most importantly him. They all turned out beautifully! We highly recommend her. She also did a close family friend’s wedding photos and they also turned out spectacularly! She will be doing all of our future photos. I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your wedding date and venue secured! Popular dates, especially during wedding season, can book up quickly. Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid.
Turnaround times vary depending on your wedding package and hours of coverage. For full wedding days (7 hours), you can expect your completed gallery within 8–12 weeks. I also send sneak peeks before your full gallery is ready so you have some beautiful moments to share while you wait!
I’m based in Kitsap County, Washington, and photograph weddings throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond! Travel fees may apply depending on the distance and location of your wedding. Any additional travel costs will always be discussed upfront so there are no surprises.
Absolutely! Before your wedding, we’ll go over your timeline, family photo groupings, and any must-have photos. I can help you plan how much time to set aside for getting ready, first looks, family portraits, and other important moments. On your wedding day, I’ll help keep photography organized and running smoothly so you can focus on enjoying every moment!
Every image included in your final gallery is professionally edited by me! I carefully go through the photos from your wedding day, selecting the best images while removing duplicates, test shots, and photos with closed eyes or other distractions. My goal is to deliver a beautiful, consistent gallery that tells the story of your day from beginning to end.
The number of images you receive depends on your wedding package, hours of coverage, and how your day unfolds. Every wedding is different! Rather than limiting your gallery to a specific number of photos, I focus on delivering the best images that tell the complete story of your day, from the big moments to all the little details in between.
Yes! Samantha Gomez Photography is a licensed and insured photography business. I carry liability insurance and can provide proof of coverage to your wedding venue upon request. I want my couples to feel confident knowing they’re working with a professional who takes their wedding day seriously!
Yes! For larger weddings, a second photographer can be added to your package for an additional fee. This allows us to capture different angles, more candid moments, and important moments happening at the same time. If you’re planning a larger celebration, we can discuss whether a second photographer would be a good fit for your day!
I currently specialize in photography and do not offer videography services. However, I’m more than happy to recommend videographers who can help capture your wedding day on film! I also love working alongside videographers to make sure we’re both able to capture all the important moments throughout your day.
The first step is reaching out! We’ll chat about your wedding plans, photography needs, and which package would be the best fit for your day. I’m happy to communicate through messages or schedule a phone call if you’d prefer! Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over your contract and booking details. A signed contract and 50% retainer are required to officially secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due before your wedding day!
