Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a Washington-based photographer with a love for documenting people exactly as they are. For me, wedding photography is about so much more than taking pretty pictures. It’s about preserving the way your day actually felt — the nerves before the ceremony, the happy tears, the laughter, the people you love, and all of those little moments happening in between. My approach is relaxed, genuine, and centered around connection. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I also leave plenty of room for you to simply be together and enjoy your day.

You don’t have to know how to pose or feel completely comfortable in front of a camera — that’s what I’m here for! I blend gentle direction with a documentary approach, creating beautiful portraits while still giving the real moments room to happen naturally. I care about the little things just as much as the big ones: your people tearing up during the ceremony, the way you look at each other when no one is paying attention, the hugs, the chaos, and everything in between. I want your gallery to tell the whole story of your day, not just show what it looked like.

    Samantha was absolutely wonderful to work with, you can just tell she loves what she does. She was beyond patient with our kids and she is so skilled at what she does. Definitely recommend her 1000 times over!

    Samantha did such a beautiful job on our weddings photos. The day was very chaotic for a courthouse wedding and she made everything go seamlessly. I don’t love getting my picture taken, but she made my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the whole session. Sam was also easy going with location, time, and poses. You won’t regret choosing her as your photographer!

    Sam did an amazing job! She did our son’s senior photos and we couldn’t be happier. She really took her time and made it special for all of us but most importantly him. They all turned out beautifully! We highly recommend her. She also did a close family friend’s wedding photos and they also turned out spectacularly! She will be doing all of our future photos.
