    Get Ready to be WOW'd

    Working with Erika and The Greatest Adventure Weddings and Elopements was an absolute pleasure! We were so lucky they were available for us. From our very first call, Erika's communication style was direct yet warm, demonstrating her deep understanding of the industry and how she could help us make our vision come to life. Before we officially hired them, Erika suggested a perfect venue within our price range and that really sealed the deal. Their incredible attention to detail, fresh ideas, and support made our dream come to life and everything run smoothly - which is the harder task to accomplish. I was most wow'd by her design ideas for the table settings. It was such a unique and trendy touch that just fit our vibe and wow'd our guests.     The GREATEST there is!

    I had the privilege of working with Erika and Ryan of the Greatest Adventure for not one but two weddings! The first, an elopement during the pandemic in June (we used her for day of coordination), and the second a full wedding in December (we used her for full planning). Divorce sucks, but you know what doesn’t? Having the certainty the second you got engaged again that you needed Erika hired before anyone else. Having done this process twice, I can say with full confidence that Erika has the best recommendations for vendors, some I got to work with twice! Planning a wedding can be so challenging and she simplifies things for you based on what your vision is. Erika is the reason your wedding day will not only be amazingly beautiful, but also enjoyable for you too! We got married in a snow storm and I spent the morning of the wedding grooving out to music with my HMU artist and eating breakfast by the fireplace while everything else was getting taken care of. Do you want to worry about coordinating a flower set up in a snow storm? How about making sure that your guests who have special dietary restrictions get their food? Or being the person that all vendors and family/friends can ask questions to while your head is literally spinning? At one point during our rehearsal she asked me a timeline question and I told her, “I’m going to need you to just tell me what to do every hour of this day”--and she did! She also was 100% supportive of our vision to get married outside in the snow in December on top of a mountain. I can’t tell you how many family members asked us how this would work, but it ended up being the most magical day! Erika will also be the reason why the lead up to your wedding will be stress-free. I graduated from grad school in the summer, put in an offer on a house in the fall, and hosted Thanksgiving for 20 people the week before the wedding. If I had a dollar for every time someone asked us how this was possible, I would be rich enough to pay Erika back for her services. Never, at any point during the planning process, was I stressed that things were not going to work out or get done. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Erika for all you do!

    Grooms listen up

    Grooms: You’ve started to realize that you’ve lost all privileges when it comes to picking out anything. Over time, her confidence in you has gone from 0 to negative. You’re in the spot where you want to help but any time you open your mouth it ends with, “it’s okay. I’ll just do it myself.” So what do you do? You find yourself Erika and Ryan from Greatest Adventure Wedding and Elopements. You want to find somebody who’s on your side. Someone who makes you but most importantly her feel good after your talks. A team that has experience but gives you the flexibility to have your own wedding flavor. Erika and Ryan have this rare talent of being relaxed but keen on detail. Their level of preparedness and eagerness to help is uncanny. Over time they give you the confidence that your wedding will all magically work out. And at the end of it all, Lisa and I had the most wonderful wedding. We are so grateful to have got in touch with Erika and Ryan. We’ve kept saying that we have the best team of vendors and truly, you cannot ask for a better pair. Out of all the things that we paid for, this was by far probably the most worth it. So grooms, when you have no idea what to do and your words struggle to find the light. Reach out to Erika and Ryan.     Made our day special!

    Erika was a HUGE help as our day-of coordinator. She kept the vendors in sync and everything running so smoothly that we could forget about all of the details and focus on fun with our friends and family.

No. We only take a max of 2 events/week (1 weddings & 1 elopement) and never on back to back days!
You will always work directly w/ Erika (owner)! We have a team of assistants and there will be at least one other person onsite w/ Erika day-of.
We launched our business in 2015 and changed the name in 2017, when we started offering elopement services as well. We have years of experience working at all sorts of venues, from ballrooms at The Fairmont & Four Seasons to glaciers in Alaska & Iceland!
Our style is PNW-inspired with Scandinavian influences--Clean & simple w/ natural elements, including wood, metals, flowers & nature itself. We love incorporating pops of color and mixing masculine details with feminine. You can always expect lots of textures and cozy vibes! Our designs are laid-back and approachable--Intentionally a little imperfect.

We do not accept commission/referral fees from vendors. If they are offered, we ask that they be extended to our couples as a discount instead! We refer vendors that we feel are the best fit, not ones that pay us to do so. Additionally, we do not pay to be on any preferred vendor lists.
